I wish you well - hope the MFP community can help you get there!

Thank you! I know that you will

Thank you! Glad I can play a small part in helping with your motivation - good luck!

Thank you all for your flattering comments

Thanks! I measured my body fat on one of those electronic scales - there are sensors under your feet and a pair you hold in your hands. I think the consensus is that they don't have amazing static accuracy but I would measure every Monday morning and keep a record, so over time there's an indication of the overall trend.…

Thanks man, that means a lot as I see you logging all your extra-hard training!
-
Thank you! :)

Thank you both for the suggestions! I will definitely chase up those sample packs, and hit H&B as well!

Bald by choice, hopefully in a few years nature will save me a job :)

The BIA scale this morning said 9%, but I would estimate more like 11-ish%. That's down from almost 25% a year ago!

Don't renew if you can possibly help it - go back to halls if you have to. The current place is obviously stressing you out which will affect not just your fitness but your concentration, and eventually, your grades!

Single, unfortunately!

BMI 22, lower than 91% of British men between 30-44 and 66% of men worldwide. Most like someone from Niger, apparently!

None thank you! Makes finding a partner quite difficult, but no-one said life would be easy!
-
Amazing progress, I take my hat off to you!

I don't drink, never been interested - plus it's bad for you! Usually people find it weird and assume (quietly) I must be religious or the son of alcoholics, but eventually they get used to it. There's a very strong drinking culture in this country!

Haven't had sex for so long I might have to re-learn it! Not had a Big Mac for at least a year, but don't really miss them. I do miss fried chicken, not had it for ages but will treat myself at some point I'm sure :)

Olymp1a : they're all beautiful, but I think your profile might just be the best! :)

It's great stuff, though I tend to use it more as a tasty high-protein snack during the day and have a post-workout shake.

Well said!

What a rude idiot. You don't even need to punch his face - he's ugly enough.

Skipping is fantastic for burning the calories, definitely one to pursue if you've already got the rope. If you can't do pushups right now, I think starting by pushing yourself up off a wall (starting by just leaning into it) or by doing them on the floor but kneeling down rather than stretched out are things you could…

That is absolutely amazing! Pat yourself on the back

Oh, one more - when equipment is broken and *stays* broken for ages. People are paying membership, keep the gear maintained!
-
Oh yeah, dropping weights is a right wind up - I've almost had my foot crushed by someone else's falling iron!

People checking/chatting on their phones. It shouldn't even be in the gym! Men lifting heavy weight (badly) which they obviously can't handle Women lifting incredibly light weights which are evidently providing no resistance (of course it's sometimes appropriate to use them) Guys who walk away from a bench/machine/whatever…

That guy with the headphones strapped on, not unfriendly but not outwardly social, powering through dumbbell and body weight exercises (including weird pull-up/press-up variations that make people stare) in about 40 mins. Definitely *not* the guy checking his mobile phone, admiring himself in the mirror, or having a chat…
