Ah, we're supposed to be done? Well let's just continue :) SW 1/05: 122.4 CW 4/19: 114.8 and overdue for a whoosh! -7.6lbs a) Yes when I'm not SICK GEEZ LOUISE I AM TIRED OF THIS *kitten* (literally...) b) average for week was always over 10k, so I need to aim higher c) Clearly not, but that's ok. I'm only 2.8lbs from my…

It's an analogy. I would REALLY hope that is obvious to everyone with an IQ over 50.
-
Yeah it was less fishing for compliments on my success, and more sharing my recent epiphany about how my willpower is what has shaped and defined my successes so far. I guess I could have left the pictures off and just stuck with the essay :) I didn't really know where to put it, but I enjoy the analogy of my willpower…

I'm definitely feeling a little embarrassed and self conscious that this has gotten no comment. Is it just too cheesy, or is it just the wrong forum for it? I can have it removed and put it somewhere that it fits better.

I know scheduling seems like an issue, but I can conform to your schedule easily. My nights after 9:00PM are always available. I'm not trying to pressure you though to have a video taken, but I might arrange sometime to have you take one of me! :P No one says you have to post it though, you can use it for your own…

We should try videoing each other some time. I was thinking @SideSteel "I have no one to tape me!" but then I realized that you and I could record each other sometime. It would probably be helpful to both of us. I did go to that form workshop and he really praised my form, but I only had 30lbs on the bar, so it was a big…
-
Hmm I would just do bar and then add 10 or 20 at a time until you feel at "working weight". It's a tough call!! You'll do great, no matter how much you deload. :)
-
It's ok <3 Try to do better tomorrow.
-
Is it really? I didn't even know that. Full on rest week, or deload week?
-
Hi there and welcome! :D We are nice people and I love everyone here, it's the best place to come for encouragement.

Are you talking about some specific type of HIIT that would cause injury? I've read that it's easy to injure yourself doing HIIT sprints. But you could easily do it on the elliptical or something. My PT always bugged me to add HIIT to my lifting regime and I just... didn't want to. Lately I've been wondering if I should…

I had a plan to follow up on this thread with my daily weigh-in to report how long it took the temporary weight to go away. 1 day after +2 Pounds overall 2nd day +3 overall 3rd day +4 overall (I can see why people get so freaked out ) But on the 4th day I came down with the stomach flu. I not only didn't weigh in, but I…

Still have stomach flu, and now my kids have it too. So someday I will make it back in. and probably have to deload, grr! Always one step forward and two steps back! But I made it to 100 so I don't care!

An anti-check-in Had house guests for two nights and I figured I could skip my routine to be polite, cause it was just two nights. So today is lifting day, and I woke up with some sort of stomach flu!! I have been so sick all day with flu-like symptoms, nausea, cramping, and staying close to my bathroom. So I guess I will…

QFT I would think having lost 50 already you would realize this isn't a reasonable goal?
-
Me too. And I eat Cookie Dough flavor microwaved for 20 seconds almost every time. Hasn't been two years for me but it's been months at least and not sick of them yet..

Exactly... I just don't know where this idea has come from that soda has a lot of sodium. It has an extremely negligible amount. A serving of celery, carrots, bell peppers, broccoli or sweet potatoes has more sodium than a Diet Coke.
-
I see sodium thrown out all the time regarding soda, and it really doesn't have a lot of sodium. I mean I am on 1300 calories a day and my daily sodium default is 2300mg. I don't think 70mg of sodium is really doing anything. And the Diet Coke I am drinking has only 40mg.
-
That had nothing to do with this subject... But I DID find it interesting and funny :)
-
Me neither. I never thought Diet Coke was giving me free calories elsewhere.

Yesterday, Ice Cream Fitness A I had a lot of energy for this session because I ate 1500-2000 cals over maintenance the day before  Squats - warmups 45, 65, 85 then 5x5@100. Form a bit better than the first time at this weight but still needs a lot of improvement. Bench - tried 1x5@65 and it was really too heavy. Went…

I haven't played that one! I will check it out.

I didn't eat a single vegetable today.

I use mine all the time and have changed the batteries once in the last year. I would make sure to get scales that use AA and AAA so that you can get Amazon rechargeable batteries http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-AA-Rechargeable-Batteries-16-Pack/dp/B007B9NV8Q/ and a battery bay…

Ha thanks everyone, glad you liked it. Just as a report in, temporary scale damage wasn't as bad as expected, 2 pounds up. Whatevs, it will all go away in the next few days. I've got nothing to weigh in for. When I went to bed I was really impressed at the food belly that I was rockin! It actually felt really strange to be…
