Thanks Beeps. Hoping to get your kind of results by this time next year!

Stage 3 is really different. At first I thought mainly core. Then, back. Now I think it covers my muscle groups from top to bottom.

Wow. you look like a different person. you are adorable. Thanks for posting this. It's a reminder that looking fantastic takes time and patience along with the hard work. I needed the reminder today.

Wow! Thanks for sharing our story. What an inspiration. Congratulations on all of your success.

I've lifted most of my life. Gloves help prevent callouses. They also help you grip the bar better because of sweat. most gyms dont allow chalk so the gloves kind of resolve the grip issue. An aside benefit of gloves now is that my bare hands don't touch the bars where other sweaty, germy people touch the bars and…

Second time with workout A. Managed to do better on the jumping lunges for the first set but didn't do as well the second set. Definite improvement though! I will try kettle bell next time. Good idea. I was a little more coordinated this time around. I was born in Chicago. Moved away when I was 17. Generations of Cubs…

Glad you joined us! The weight room is really not as intimidating as a lot of women imagine. Most of the lifters are there to lift, not judge. It's a good world to spend time in!

My husband works for CdC. I'm going to ask him to look into this. Very interesting concept.

The jumping lunges were ridiculous. I would hate to see video of me doing those! Lol! The single dumb bell squat was really hard for me to balance. I kept reducing the dumb bell weight until I could finally manage to be balanced. But I totally felt my core really trying to figure out what to do. Kind of cool. I'm not as…

Good job with stage 1. Be patient. At the end of stage 2 I started to see good results.

My 2 cents.... You won't be able to do all the cardio between the weight lifting. You need to recover. I tried what you are talking about and it didn't give me enough muscle to lift. The lifting is strenuous. What did work for me was to do one spin class on a non lifting day, after a total rest day. I do walk most days but…

Thanks! Starting my first stage 3 today.

I just finished stage 2 of NRoLFW. Since the end of February I've love 3 inches in my hips, 2 inches from my waist, and 2 from my bust! I am feeling really good today!

Wow. This is a loaded question. I'd suggest not looking at your pictures and try and figure out what you want out of your life. If 100 people tell you you don't need to lose weight, will you believe them or will it take 500 people, or more before you believe them. The issue isn't with your weight. It's about your self…

Wow! At 5'0 and 127 you must be solid muscle. You look beautiful!

Thanks. Pancakes are a favorite family breakfast on the week ends.

You look fantastic. He is a jerk. Nuff said.

You look fantastic. Congratulations on your success.

I am almost through with Stage 2. The lifting can be so intense you really don't have the energy for cardio. I still did a separate HIIT session on one non lifting day. I also did 15 minutes of warm up on a cardio machine, but nothing strenuous. Remember you need to give your muscles a break to recover. Doing cardio…

You look great! You can see the difference from head to toe! Congratulations!

Wow! What an achievement. Can't wait to be in your shoes or better yet, your size of jeans! Congrats!
-
Congratulations on all your hard work. Your transformation into an athlete is awesome!
-
Good idea. It sure wont hurt to get an adjustment.

Pain is the big hig joint on the side. I do warm up before lifting and I stretch out afterwards. If its tendinitis probably should do some Motrin? I'll try the foam roller thing. I see people rolling around on those at the gym.
-
Good luck sweetie! You've worked so hard I wish you nothing but success. Cant wait to see pics or video of the competition.

Be carried to bed or across the threshold. Wear shorts. Show my arms in a tank top.

Thanks for posting this OP. I could have written it myself because I am going through the exact same thing. (Except I drink my coffee black, LOL!) I know I need to eat more and eat a little healthier. The eating more thing is just hard to do. So many years of deficit eating. It's hard to break that mindset. Good luck to…
