Just don't go over your calories... I think the advice comes from people eating a ton of junk food at as a result eating over their calorie allowance for the day. There's gotta be at least a couple you like... just keep trying some until you find them. I'm a picky eater myself and only eat a couple kinds, but it's better than not eating any. I was wondering how far I should be able to run before I even start to train for a marathon? Right now I can only run between 4-6 miles... I don't have a race in mind, but I'd eventually like to run one. I became addicted to running after the c25k program.

I can do 2 miles in 21:49 (5.5mph). I'm focusing on distance right now, so I'm sure I could run that a little faster if I was just doing 2 miles. Before I did c25k I couldn't run for a half hour... gotta start somewhere.

I really wish it kept track of how many days in a row you filled out your diary because I travel sometimes where I don't have internet access and can't login, but I keep track and add it when I can... I've kept track every day since Feb 6. Today would be my 119 day, but MFP says 25 days logged in

I will typically "earn" calories beforehand by exercising and try to approximate what I ate.

I took a cardio kickboxing class at my gym and it was a lot of fun.. I burned around 300-400 calories in the one hour class.

Doing the elliptical and running are two different things... I could do the elliptical 30 mins no problem, but I still couldn't run... until I did the c25k program

On my birthday (June 5) I'm planning on getting some real icecream. It comes in these little servings and has like 200 something calories in it. I haven't had it in a long time... I'm honestly considering not counting calories on my birthday. I rarely have a cheat day or whatever, still haven't decided :\

Nope, I prefer to do it at home and my gym is like a 10 minute walk from my house... only time I would is if I were going somewhere afterwards and I lived further away.

When I go over one day, I just start over the next day. I don't try to beat myself up over it (like I use to). Usually the next day ends up being my running day and I end up burning at least those calories if not more.

Like others have said, the sidewalks are uneven... although for me it kind of makes it more fun to have mini obstacles haha

Some of the exercises I use 1.5 and others are 5, but that's all I have. If I had some 3lb weights I'd use those instead of the 1.5

It's a fun way to exercise when I don't feel like going to the gym, but I don't really burn a lot of calories doing it.
