My Results
Honestly, I think I'm more happy about being able to do a real pushup now than anything else. I started level 1 and ended up doing wall pushups because I just couldn't do them, even on my knees. By level 3 I was able to do the walking pushups on my knees and do a couple regular pushups. I just feel like I have gotten…

Sharp pains from running - need advice
A few months ago, I completed the couch to 5k program and a few months after that I was consistently running 5k 3x a week. Everything was fine, had no issues running. Well I decided that I wanted to complete 10K by the end of the year. I've been working on that and I'm up to 4 miles (no stopping) minimum (sometimes I can…

Lost 15lbs
In December 2011, I was 125lbs (my heaviest) and today I was a little under 110lbs (my normal). I still have some flub in my tummy/hips region that I'd like to get rid of. I'm not sure if you can tell the difference, but I can feel it in my clothes and I just feel better. I have been trying to stay within my calorie goal,…

NSV: accomplished a goal

It's more of a curiosity…

How can I combat high cholesterol?
My most recent doctor did a bunch of lab work to see what my levels were when I first got her as a doctor. I have high cholesterol. Well, it's not high enough that she wanted to prescribe me anything. It's because of heredity that I have it (my dad has it). I have a pretty active lifestyle (exercising at least 3x a week,…

Not sure how many servings in soft serve icecream?
So we have this really good icecream stand here and I might go 1 time while I'm visiting my family. The icecream lists servings as a half of a cup. How many servings would go into a small sized icecream cone? I know this isn't good for me, but it'll just be this once (maybe once a year if even that). I tried googling this…

Should I track on vacation?
We are stationed in Italy and are planning a trip to the Tuscany region for a four-day weekend (Friday - Monday). I think it would be pretty hard to track things because we'll be eating out and I really want to relax and enjoy the food and wine. I've been pretty good with my caloric intake, only going slightly above once…

I haven't exercised in a couple days because it hurts to even walk. Does anyone have any suggestions to make the pain go away quicker so I can exercise again? Thanks.
