i just bought something weird for my salad - at least it seemed kinda weird! it was a bag of broccoli slaw. i guess you are supposed to add stuff to it to make cole slaw. but instead, i topped my salad with it! it was pretty delish and i think it satisfied the need for some extra crunch. i love me some carrots and chic…

new to this thread but checking in! stayed the same on the scale, but it's been a week of changing habits and working out, :drinker: so i know the loss is right around the corner!!

it took me from september 13th 2010 until february 2011 to lose 30 pounds. i was diligent and consistent. then i got a new job and gained 20 back in like 4 months. LOL! oh well i am back... i think it just depends on the person. stick with it and it will happen, trust me!
-
awesome job all of you! i like this challenge - looks really organized!
-
my mom uses it and she has lost over 25 pounds. she is 62. she says it is the one thing that she can actually stick to. she is a life-time dieter... *EDIT: i totally agree though, this is NOT the way to go.
-
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! i dont know what i would do without my MFP peeps!!!
-
great job!!! i actually like level 2 a little better. not sure why because it is a little harder but i think you will do great!!!
-
i have the polar FT7 - it was about $100 and i ordered it from macy's. forgot to check in yesterday with DAY 9 DONE! i did lvl 2 of the shred and in 29 minutes burned 333 calories. a bit more intense i would say!
-
bumping for later, thanks!
-
day 8 = DONE! i just did level one. my HRM said i went for 28.59 minutes and burned 280 calories, just FYI.
-
just realized that today should have been my 'day 7', which was supposed to be a rest day....but i took a rest day on 'day 5' so tomorrow i am going to move on to 'day 8'. make sense? kinda confusing. i am only posting it here to keep me going and accountable for tomorrow's workout. just ignore my crazy...
-
very sweet tribute to a sweet kiddo
-
do you really get into it or just struggle through it? i burn about 250-300 with my HRM and the shred level 1 but i cannot do all the harder moves and have to modify my cardio due to my downstairs neighbors...um....not appreciating my workouts...:blushing:
-
day 6 - done! i think i am going to walk my dog to petsmart and keep the HRM going to see how we do
-
ooooohhh! i have been LUCKY enough to meet several of my MFP friends from all over the country - NJ, NH, NC, TX, to name a few states!!! i love them and they are so important to me
-
LOL @ 'tickler' - hehe i just read this article and i thought it had some good info (except the part of using sparkpeople instead of MFP...haha). my scale HAS gone up about 2 pounds since i started this last wednesday. so, now i expect to see it go DOWN since i am headed into the second week soon :drinker:…
