Yes and over 30. I love my Citizen Eco-Drive pearl faced, silver& gold tone. Need to have the extenders removed so it actually fits my smaller wrist, yaay for NSV's. I was checking in with a security guard and had to log the time on the sheet, he commented that it was rare these days for him to see someone checking the…

You can see the difference, and congrats on doing so well.

In the winter I ate soup a lot. When I was eating soup on a regular I dropped the most weight the fastest, 30 pounds in 3 months. I didn't stick with that because I had was strict on everything I ate. I've kept the weight off but have more flexibility in what I eat now. But to answer the OP question. I eat soup and chili…

My man treats me like a "princess" which I believe is a word you use. BUT he does not let me walk all over him...if I am being a brat he calls me out on it. In return, I show him all the love and appreciation he desires....physically and emotionally. thats the trade off in a healthy relationshi[p. [/quote] ^^ This

Ask for what you want and need out of this relationship, get her to the point where she understands if cannot/will not reciprocate and show you a deeper, newer level of love and affection then she may end up losing you...and follow through. I would tell any of my girl friends the same exact thing I am saying to you.

I found this to be easy enough for me. Find out the BMR and TDEE for the weight I want to be at, 150 pounds. If I eat at the sedentary TDEE for the my goal weight I should be losing weight, since this number should be a deficit of my current TDEE. If I exercise that is extra calories burned and I do not eat those…

If you read the entire paragraph you would recognize she is quoting a book, take exception to that author not the author of the article in question. Don't quote a piece of the sentence and leave the rest out, English 101. "And it’s not only aesthetics that make black fat different. It’s politics too. To get a quick…

Might try re-reading the entire article because she also said this... "I call on every black woman for whom it is appropriate to commit to getting under 200 pounds or to losing the 10 percent of our body weight that often results in a 50 percent reduction in diabetes risk. Sleeping better may be key, as recent research…

BUMP so I can find this later when I want to make...droooooling, lol.

OK here goes...I have encountered men that talk to me now more favorably and show more interest now that I have lost weight. On the other hand I have encountered men (dating one now and one in the past) that did not want me to get "too skinny" I stopped trying to figure men out because it's too hard and gives me a…

this made me LOL

My HOA does not allow charcoal or any type of wood burning smoker...so gas it is! I really like my gas grill, I use it the entire summer. It's quick and easy to start cooking without the hassel and waste of charcoal and lighter fluid if you aren't cooking a lot of stuff.

Welcome to MFP!

Wearing a pair of slacks I couldn't fit into when I first bought them.

Fuel your body and it will thank you with loss of pounds. Don't go into too much of a deficit bacause your body will slow down.

Calories in (eat/drink) - Calories out (exercise) = net calories

You should be fine, I weigh far to often for my peace of mind. I may just chunk my scale and only weigh occasionally.

A little cheat yes I think so. Try to earn that Kit Kat today by going for a brisk walk after or before dinner. Log it on today because you ate it today, be honest with yourself because you're opinion is the only one that matters anyway.

My only suggestion is more fruit and vegetables, which has already been said. They really are filling. I saw bananas with peanut butter for a snack, LOVE IT! Try an apple with peanut butter. Also some sort of raw, steamed, sauteed veggie will help with feeling full. I love Spinach, not so much broccoli but it is filling,…

That's awesome and inspirational for you to be a health hero/leader in your office. People are watching your progress and you may not realize who you are inspiring with your commitment to your health. Keep up the great work.

I haven't lost my cravings yet. I may try to find a healthier option but usually if I want it I have it. One serving if I can be good ;-) Nothing is prohibited I just make sure to LOG IT!! That's what helps me stay accountable, have a visual record of what I did as far as calories, and gives me an idea how to mitigate the…

I had a point in time that I was very diligent about everything I ate, calories around 1200 i guess but I wasn't on this site actually tracking. My mind at that time was if something wasn't nutritionally worth the calories I did not eat it because it wasn't worth it. I exercised 60 minutes a day 5 days a week. I lost 30…

I am in maintenance mode so my calories are 1750. My doc told me eat 1200 calories a day. I could only do that for a short period of time because I get grouchy and lethargic eating 1200 or fewer calories. I am ascribing to the thought process that I should eat the maintenance calorie intake for the wieght I want to be at…

Try for a spike day where you 'net' (eat) all your calories for the day. Don't leave any extra calories out there. Also, try to incoporate more fruit and vegetables into your daily diet. Watch the sodium, it really does make a difference and you were in the red a few days.
-
You will get so many different answers to this question. Here's mine...MFP does not calculate exercise into your daily calories consumed. SO...it adds your calories exercised back into your daily calories because the equation it's going by is what you told MFP. 'I want to lose X pounds in a week' it doesn't deviate from…

YUM!! Thanks for this, I had forgotten I have some in the pantry. Guess what's for dinner?
-
Calories consumed - Calories burned during exercise = Net Calories Some people are of the opinion that your Net calories should never be below 1200 calories. Also, if you eat back your exercise calories your Net should always equal your goal calories (what MFP has your goal calories set to) mainly because MFP does not…

This makes me sad and I am so sorry that your family is treating you this way. My response is very low on this thread and OP might not even get back to reading it. Just wanted to say that.
