20 miles this week! 76 for the month.

Ran 7 miles even though I didn't get enough sleep last night.

I have a Forerunner 305 and I love it. It's waterproof - had to do a six mile run in the rain a few weeks ago. I got mine off amazon, they seem to have the best deals. Battery life is long for long runs. It has a lap button that I can hit every mile so I can always see how long each mile takes - that's important to me for…

22 miles this week. 56 for the month so far. :drinker:

When a Stranger Calls (the original one) - the first 15 minutes of that movie kept me up at night and had me terrified to babysit because I saw it when I was like 12 or 13. I still don't think I could watch it to this day.

23 miles this week! That's 34 for the month.
-
Going for 100 miles this month. Week 1 total 11 miles.
-
My marathon training schedule has me doing a touch over 100 miles this month...so I guess I'm going for 100! :drinker:
-
Today was my final run of the month. This week's total - 13 miles. Monthly total - 81 miles! I can't believe it - my best month ever!!
-
None.
-
Week four - 18 miles. MTD - 68 miles! Yea, I passed my goal! I'm so excited!
-
No, you're not the only one. Bacon makes every forum better! And you cannot fool me with turkey bacon. F**k that noise!
-
I agree, those are some weak goals. Maybe that's just because I've already done them and if I can do them, then they're not hard enough. Most women that workout regularly could do a 60 sec. plank. I've done several half marathons and 4 fulls (training for my 5th right now). But 10 push-ups? Um, that's a good start but…

1. Tori Amos (always #1) 2. Rush 3. Radiohead 4. The National 5. Led Zeppelin If you're one of my favorite artists or bands, then I have to like the entire catalog...otherwise it just won't work for me.
-
Forgot to update my week 3 miles - did 18 for the week, which makes 50 for the month so far.
-
Good for you, amazing transformation! Congrats!

Funny how the haters already showed up. Love the Cowboys!! Lived in Dallas all of my life and have ALWAYS been a fan, good times and, er, no so good times. Go 'Boys!

The one song that always makes me run faster is "Run the World" by Beyonce. Also, "No Love" by Eminem or "Fire Woman" by The Cult. All are on my current playlist.

cookinglight.com has tons of recipes. Also, what about soups or chili? I love my crock pot and you can pretty much throw anything in there and it's awesome. Every time I make Chicken Tortilla soup I use different ingredients based on what I have in the pantry. With ground turkey you could go Italian - meatballs, lasagna…
-
Wow. You're brave for even considering it. I hope you can run faster than she can throw.

Oh, God. Is that all you're upset about? Not holding the door or saying stupid *kitten*? I thought you were going to list something really egregious like folding the towels wrong or not buying big enough diamonds.

1.) Rarely wear make-up, never wear perfume. 2.) Ready and out the door in ten minutes. 3.) If a shirt doesn't smell, it's not dirty to me. 4.) My first vehicle was a pick-up truck I drove for ten years. Used to change my own oil. 5.) I LOVE football! 6.) I like to fix stuff. 7.) Never owned a Barbie in my life. 8.) I love…

I call bullsh!t on this. Why do you think "Fifty Shades of Grey" was so popular??? No woman wants to be dragged by her hair back to the cave or anything, but a *little* hair-pulling would still be nice. Believe me, I'm not condoning the controlling nature of the main character, but the point is that it's kinda hot…

Sorry to hear that :( Stock up on lots of healthy snacks so when you go to the kitchen you have plenty of options. If you want to eat something like ice cream, you should have to leave the house to eat it. Makes it harder. Also, maybe journal about your feelings. Sometimes writing "God, he's such a jerk, but I miss him,"…

Running the Dallas Marathon in December. This will be my fifth but the last four were so terrible it's not even worth mentioning! I'm not really fast, but I'm hoping to come in under 4:30. It seems impossible, but training is going ok so far. I usually run 5k's and I'm alright on the half marathons, but I always crap out…

If you are working out regularly, you'll be fine for the Warrior Dash. One of my friends that did it with me was overweight, but she works out and she did fine. You can walk when you get winded and you can skip an obstacle if you just can't do it. Compared to other mud runs I've done, I didn't think the obstacles were too…
-
They're a lot of fun, especially if you do it with a group of friends. Personally, I think the Warrior Dash is the easier of the two so maybe that's a good one to start with. Have fun gettin' dirty!!

OMG, love it!

Daaaaaaamn! Lucky girl! I miss duharforstået - I never see him on here anymore! Sweet Jesus, he would post the hottest pics! I have a few really hot guys on my friends list, but I don't want to name names...it would be too embarrassing if they saw this! :blushing:
