My son who is 5`10 and 180 lbs burned 780 calories doing plyo cardio circuit.

Okay, so this is what I should do. Set my MFP goal to my maintenance of 1684. If I go to my food tab, at the bottom I'll see. Totals Your Daily Goal Remaining Using your advice I should see something along these lines... Totals - 1295 Your Daily Goal - 1684 (no workout) Remaining - in Green 389 or Totals - 1684 Your Daily…

Blueberries , berries in general every day. Veggies. Occasionally beans like pinto etc.

So basically take your own personal maintenance number...mine is 1683.5 and minus 1000 = 683.5 and that's the NET number you are shooting for. Do not go below this number. Have MFP's goal set at your BMR which is 1295 for me and eat anywhere from 1000 to 1295 actual calories. Use exercise to get down to 683.5 NET. I have…

I've gotten to week three about three times. So now I'm just doing a mix of p90x, Insanity, turbofire and other programs. Whatever I"m in the mood for, I do. I try to get three strength training days a week and 3 cardio type HIIT programs. I'm going to do back and biceps today and maybe diamond delts from his one on one…

I suppose depending on how much a person has to lose..they can adjust their goal. For someone that is close to their goal, they could have it set to maintain and just not count their exercise calories. Let the work out be the way they lose fat. Or have a small goal of .5 lbs a week and not eat back 250 calories of their…

My BMR is 1295. Multiply that by 1.3 = 1683.5. I should eat 1295 and not eat back exercise calories except if I burn more than 295 so that I don't net lower than 1000. Basically, I should eat 1295 a day. If I exercise, I should not worry about 295 calories of the burn but if I burn more, I eat that surplus back. I would…

135. Will reassess once there but I definitely won't go below 125.

I'd say keep going. Might want to get p90x to do a hybrid so you can also gain some muscle. But you have to make sure you are eating enough. I just did the fit test with my son yesterday. We got pretty good scores. :) I did pretty good for a 45 year old lady. I'm going to do a p90x/insanity type hybrid because I like…

1 to 1 1/2 hours a day, six days a week. High intensity cardio and weights. Probably should be doing 2 or more a day to get this weight moving as this has always been the case throughout the years.

I work out at home by myself but do enjoy when I have someone to do it with me.

Would like to add, other than music like some have posted.... small games from a computer or hand held device works great at distracting. Tetris, etc. I've seen a study where people with post traumatic stress syndrome have gotten better faster with such distractions. Keep telling yourself that you are strong! You can over…

Find a good book talking about anxiety and panic. The ways to calm yourself down. Keep telling yourself that you are not afraid of bridges, going out, etc. You are afraid of fear. Afraid of the feelings. Just remember that the feelings travel as if you were climbing a mountain. Anxiety into panic as you go up but there is…

I'm 45. My resting heart rate is 43-48. The highest I"ve seen was 174. Usually when I get into the mid 160s, I'll need to slow down. Luckily HIITs are usually one minute so I can handle the high rate for that long.

I've been up and down the same 2 lbs for 2 and a half months. 12-14 lbs to go. Might need to lose more when I get there. I feel unless I've been 100% with calories and exercise (p90x) and eating clean, then I will continue to bounce. Can't be 80 -90% perfect. Just averaged out my net which is 1441 for the last 3 weeks but…

My watch is in the shop getting a new battery. Today I did chest and back plus ab ripper X. I looked on the day I last did this workout with my HRM and just put in the same amount as the last time. And I just guessed for core synergistics yesterday. I know I burn between 350 and 650 each p90x workout, so I just put it in…

Online calculations has me at about 26% fat. I"m 5'4 and 148 lbs. My scale has me at 35%. I would hope that my scale is wrong.

Every one or two weeks I"ll skip working out to do a few hours of more thorough housecleaning and I log it. It feels great to forego the intense exercise for a day of cleaning. I do a half hour or an hour of some sort of cleaning a day and I don't log that.

I've done Yoga X about 4 or 5 times. HRM says I burned between 180 and 250 calories for the hour and a half. Hard to see that for a workout, lol. Especially when I can burn the same doing a 20 minute HIIT workout for the same. But Yoga is good for you in other ways as well and I do feel very worked out by doing it.

Maybe set yourself at maintenance since you are so close to your goal and dont' bother logging exercise. Let the workouts burn off the calories.
-
Maintaining is easier. I've been trying to lose for 20 years, lol.

Definitely spaghetti squash. But I also use a variety of vegetables....cauliflower, etc. So great underneath a spaghetti sauce.

Fruit has great nutrition plus fiber and can curb your craving for sweets. I seem to always mix mine with a type of protein which helps to keep me satisfied. Try limiting processed foods(white flour, sugar) instead.

It happens to me. Over ten years ago I was doing 45 mins weight training plus 1 hour of cardio six days a week for 15 months and had insomnia the whole time. As soon as I stopped, I could sleep. I've been working out steady since May and have found sleep issues to not be bad at all. Then I started p90x last month and…

Probably could add exercise on your days off as you are busy at work. Make sure to eat throughout the day and have room for a light snack at five thirty and a heallthy meal at 7. Prepare some things on your weekend so you have things you just need to warm up. Even cooked patties you have frozen to warm up for a homemade…

I would get that on my arms while biking in bumpy areas a couple years ago.
