  • I like a banana and blueberries in mine for the fiber and nutrition. Perfect for after a workout or to replace a meal with.
  • Whoops, missed reading the word bean. Well, doesn't seem too bad then.
  • Cheesecake - Light or no fat cream cheese mixed with ricotta, flavoured with SF vanilla, white chocolate or cheesecake pudding powder. Top with fruit. Can put a bit of graham cracker crumbs on the bottom. Peanut butterscotch marshmellow squares - My fix for this is just SF butterscotch pudding mixed with pb and banana,…
  • When I feel like a chocolate bar, I'll have a protein bar instead. Clif builders are pretty good at 270 calories. I'll cut up pitas or tortilla, bake them and have salsa with it. Might be 250 cals but that can be reduced with whatever tortillas you use. Microwave a potato and put salsa on it. Low cal and filling. I mixed…
  • Thanks! Had I known that you don't have to go slow and touch your nose on the ground, I may have done one sooner! Just know that is it possible! Because I had thought there was no way I was ever going to do one.
  • I would do that maybe for two to three days tops. If you said you were going to stick in a protein drink or two a day, maybe that would be okay for awhile. You do want to keep the muscles...
  • On another site, I logged my weight about once or twice a month , so sometimes I just waited till the next week to put it in. Here I'm weighing in and logging that once a week. The good thing about logging it all the time, is you get to see the fluctuations, the patterns which can help you feel okay about going up and down…
  • To get fit! Short on time, do a harder workout and burn about the same calories as a lighter workout twice as long. And I don't mind being able to eat more because of it either.
  • Finally can do push ups on my toes. :) (a week ago) Saw a new number on the scale after going up and down two pounds on the scale for over 2 months. (yesterday)
  • Protein shakes for sure. You can add any type of fruit and even veggies like spinach, some carrot juice. All sorts of different combos to get your fruit and veggies in. Definitely make sure you are getting your daily fat requirements by adding nut butter.
  • I went twenty years ago before the point system and was quite successful. 40 lbs each time. Lots of preparation for the meals but I guess if I would have not made as many different meals each week, it would have been easier. Only down side was $ for me.
  • 5 oz bbq steaked with some steamed asparagus.
  • Having the patience all the while that weight loss is sloooooow. 9 lbs in 4 months isn't too bad but it's the following 2 month plateau. Knowing I"ll have to try to up protein, cut back carbs plus only eat half of my exercise calories back even though I'm still hungry at night when I'm done eating all I should be eating.…
  • 43-48. I remember it being in the high 60s when I was in my early thirties.
  • I always have a snack after dinner. I plan for it. And I usually try to push it till 8pm so I'm satisfied for the rest of the night.
  • PB on rice cakes with raisons on top. PB on graham crackers. PB in butterscotch pudding with a banana and some cool whip on top. Going to replace my light kraft with natural peanut butter this week. I soooo love PB. I had a half of a cup of vanilla ice cream for yesterday's after dinner treat. I used a very small spoon to…
  • Weird but good..... cottage cheese, brown sugar splenda (or other sweetener), cinnamon, raisons and cool whip (or other type of whipping cream). Mix all together for a mock rice pudding.
  • I like apple, cinnamon and honey. Or banana, walnuts and maple syrup on mine.
  • Your brain needs glucose...so you need some carbs every day.
  • I did my second day of p90x classic. Chest and back with ab ripper X yesterday and plyometrics today. I'm 45, 5'4 and 148lbs. Burned 359 yesterday and 625 today. Calisthenics is good as far as matching calories for plyometrics.
  • I mixed 2 eggs, 1/3 cup oatmeal and 1/4 to 1/3 cup canned pumpkin, some spices and honey in a ramekin and baked it in the oven at 350 for about 40 mins. Mix it into oatmeal with spices, raisons, etc. I mixed spices and sf white chocolate pudding powder in it and ate it like that. Was going to mix the SF pudding mix into…
  • I love peanut butter soooo much. Must have it every day. I put some on rice cakes and then put some raisons on top of that. Great snack and rice cakes are pretty low cal. But they feel substantial and have a nice crunch.
  • Will you ever regret not having another child? Will you ever regret having the child once it's born? You can use myfitnesspal while pregnant to keep the weight in control. If your child was closer to ten and you felt that way, it might be different. But with an almost two year old, it isn't so bad to go through the diaper…
  • Salsa. Canned tomatoes. I'll use some memories of thailand spicy pepper sauce sometimes.
  • I will be one of those stories. Lost 25 lbs almost two years ago. Maintained for over a year. Got serious again May 1st to lose the last twenty two pounds. Lost 9 lbs by Sept 1st. Have been going up and down the same two pounds for two months. Hopefully things will start moving again. My muscles are definitely bigger…
  • Cottage cheese or ricotta cheese or cream cheese mixed with sweetner or sugar free vanilla, white chocolate or cheesecake pudding powder. Cherry pie filling on top!
  • Great job! Wtg!
  • - what kind of build are you? (small, medium, large) - how much do you currently weigh and what size pants on average do you wear? - what is your goal weight and why? - how old are you (if you don't mind sharing) - and have you had any kids? (I know from experience that can affect your body! ;) ) Medium build. 148 and wear…
