I suppose you could crunch every number. But also there is an after burn effect where you burn more calories for a while after you stop working out than you normally would. Since noone figures in that afterburn, why worry about the calories you burn normally in that hour subtracted off your exercise amount?

Up a pound. Just bouncing around 2 lbs. Sooo I decided to not stress about it, set my goal to half a pound a week and eat half to all of my exercise calories. Will do this till the new year and then decide if I want a big deficit again or just keep it at a half a pound a week for awhile and eat mostly primal.

I'm netting usually between 600 and 1100 calories. Once or twice a week I'm higher though, but still. I'm still bouncing up and down two pounds. Weird how you go lower and lower and still nothing changes. I guess I should give it a consistant amount and no higher calorie days...try that for a couple more weeks.

I"m thinking of trying primal in january, which is close to paleo. Because I want to keep some dairy in. Mainly my whey protein powder. Occasional milk and cheese. My son had good success with lowering his body fat with a primal diet(including his whey protein shake). Since July, I've been trying eating 1900 and no…

You lost four pounds and then the next week you gained 1. So 3 pounds lost in two weeks, averages to 1.5 lb loss per week. Pretty good. So much fluctuations with water. Just make sure you eat a bit more when you are exercising.

1 to 1 1/2 hours per day, six days a week. P90x and Insanity. Some jillian and bob thrown in. I usually have to do 2 hours per day to get the scale to move.

After having some cheat days here and there...usually every three weeks.. I'm talking about one small pancake and two pieces of toast added to my usual breakfast. Pasta instead of spaghetti squash under sauce plus a roll. Pie and ice cream for dessert...costing a daily total of 2200 -3600 calories. And being up 3lbs…

I may reward myself whenever I get to my goal. What about a spa treatment?

About the taste....I find coke zero tastes more like regular coke. I hardly ever drink diet soda myself. Even though my guy drank regular coke for years and now has been drinking diet coke for years, he prefers diet coke over coke zero.

I'm almost three months older than my husband. We look good for our age. We've been together for over 28 years. I always liked dating people my age when I was a teenager. No more than five years older and two years younger. If I was single now, because it's hard to tell people's ages, I think I would be attracted to anyone…

I have mine set to that as well. I love my protein shake. I have it as replacement for one meal and add berries and banana to it. Not sure how the macros are really as the numbers are always green. All I concentrate on is keeping processed food out and limiting my grains, most days I don't have any. I have lots of veggies…

When I need a funner form of exercise to do because I feel burned out on the extreme stuff, I will have a dance central day. I can burn 400 calories in just over an hour. Less than the extreme stuff but still a good amount for what I am doing. It's exercise and fun rolled all up in one.

My weigh in days have always been friday. I'm down a pound and just have one more to go to be at the point I was before. I've been having 1300 - 1700 calories since Monday and burning 500+ calories a day with exercise keeping my deficit to a nice 350 to 950 per day. I set my MFP goal to what I would need to maintain at my…

Maybe set your activity level to sedentary because of the desk job. Peanut butter and using some olive oil or avocado on veggies or salad can help you get more calories. Use 1% milk and 2% cottage cheese instead of fat free.

I've been doing a hybrid of insanity and p90x plus other random dvds but I do 5 insanity workouts every 2 weeks. I've only done it for three weeks so far but I've already noticed that I'm getting faster and I have more stamina.

Protein shake with either milk or almond milk, berries and a banana. One scoop of protein powder after cardio or two scoops after a strength training routine.

I'm 45, 5`4, 148 lbs and burn about 350 to 650 for the p90x work outs. My son who is 23, 5`10 and 175 lbs burns usually 300 more calories than I do each work out. My hourly rate for many different activities is usually 350 to 500 calories an hour. Yoga X was the one workout lower at about 280 for the hour and a half.

So you guys actually cut out all fruits? And vegetables that have natural sugars in them? Hmm.

Crunch on some carrots and other veggies. Then do what the other poster said, brush teeth and maybe have a herbal tea.

I make sure to have a snack worked into my day for the evening. Something I really enjoy. If I'm extra hungry I make sure to have something more filling for the evening. Like a cup of pumpkin mixed with sf butterscotch pudding mix, cinnamon and pumpkin spice with cool whip on top. Pomegranate takes awhile to eat. Popcorn…

I'm a bit lazy in the morning, so I opt to make eggs this way... Put frozen veggies in a pan with some water and a lid. When veggies are cooked, I put two eggs on top. Put the lid back on and my eggs poach inside. Put in a bowl with a bit of sea salt and olive oil. Eat. I was surprised that even california style veggies…

You are not eating enough. Make sure you are set to at most .5 lbs a week to lose. Eat back your exercise calories. Do strength training to change the composition of your body.

I'd rather eat several small meals a day and not get used to eating so much in one sitting. My digestive system does not like big meals at all. Plus I think I can eat more nutritiously eating small meals because I would be having a wider variety of foods. Sumo wrestlers usually eat once a day.

Awww, I like Tony. But even I think he talks to much on his One on One dvds, lol. Plyo is the hardest of them. Won't it be great when the next time you try it, you get to 30 mins. ;) You can always try switching it out for Cardio X for a couple weeks.

1 cup of berries per day. 1/2 to 1 full banana a day. Plus either one of these... 1 apple or orange every other day or so. 1/2 cup of pineapple. Raisons, dates or cranberries occasionally.

Once my dad told me what I had, the panic part went away but I dealt with anxiety feelings for ten years. After a 14 year absence, it came back. Still no panic. I just use mind distractions like gaming, cleaning. Light a candle, use a warming bag around my neck. That gives me good feelings. Try to get enough sleep.…

I'm not a professional but I believe the best bets are build some muscle and lose fat slowly in order to prevent too much loose skin.

I have an HMR and have been doing programs like turbofire, chalean extreme, p90x and insanity. All I've done with eating exercise calories is stay the same weight. Now I'm kind of waivering between 1000 and 1300 net but because I've been frustrated, I've had two day a week over my maintenance days. Sooo once I'm back on…
