  • I try to get up at least once an hour and walk around a little bit. I have also done some squats at my desk and some desk push-ups. I like the every 30 minute goal!
  • Or, if they are like me, they are totally in their zone while out for a run and not really aware of things around them other than things like traffic, which they are making a conscious effort to pay attention to.
  • I find that yoga is helpful on the hunger front, plus it helps build strong muscles and flexibility at once. Also, I completely second or third or whatever the healthy, balanced diet.
  • I have had my Polar (with chest strap) for three years. I cannot imagine exercising without it. It wasn't cheap, though. I think I paid about $150 for it, but it's been worth every penny.
