  • Haha, no worries... that's one I was considering after Transformation 90! Will have to see where I am in 90 days, but the next program will either be Banging Bikini Body or Slim 60.
  • I upped the intensity to advanced on the Transformation 90, and it had me start at day 1 again. I know I could just skip ahead, but I figured it's not hurting me to do a full reset, especially since I got a bit sick earlier this week and missed a few workouts. Was sweating noticeably harder, so I'm happy with that.
  • Late to the party, but wanted to say hi. I've gained too much weight in the past few years, and am ready to drop it. I started the Jillian Michaels app this week (just started a MFP group for users), which will be especially helpful since I will be living in a hotel for about six weeks this summer. Good luck everyone!
  • Same thing with the (stupidly) coveted thigh gap. With my body type (naturally busty and "butty," and even at my lowest adult weight neither of these really reduced), I would have to get to a dangerously low weight to have a thigh gap. I'm pretty sure it's the same with my stomach. I need to work on accepting that latter…
  • Since you're looking to tone up, is there a bootcamp/crossfit style group class you can join in your area? Something that features a good amount of strength training (as opposed to a spin or step class where it's more cardio-focused) would work well. I do a bootcamp, and knowing the instructor will ask me where I was if I…
  • Looks interesting! I've used BodyRock's old 30-day challenges for some workouts, but I'm always on the hunt for something new to incorporate.
  • Hey there! I'm looking to get down to 138 as soon as healthfully possible, as well as lose 4-6%BF. Trying to ensure I get 4-5 days a week exercise. Feel free to reach out and add me. What workouts/exercise plan are you following? I'm doing IF (intermittent fasting... I only eat from noon to 8pm) with cardio/bootcamp for…
  • 5'4", and would like to get down to 138, so 10-15 to lose (I'm staying off the scale another week while getting back on track after having family in town a week).
  • I'm not getting on the scale for another few days (not the best weekend, calorie-wise, thanks to Saturday evening BBQ and Sunday brunch), but my work skirt *is* sitting lower on my torso. Yay progress!
  • Hi Chrissy... 5'4" and want to be 138 (11.5 to go). What's your strategy to lose?
  • I recommend getting a pedometer. The one I wear is *just* a pedometer, flat, cost about $20, and can fit in a pocket, bra, or on a belt clip, so no excuse to not wear it. It reminds me to keep moving or take walking breaks. Working out every day might be a bit much on the body, but you can log at least 10,000 steps a day…
  • Welcome! Hopefully this is step one of many towards your goal weight! What's your current strategy, and how does it differ from the other times you've tried to lose? Or, if it's the same plan, what is different about now that will make it work? Cheers!

  • This was me for a while... in fact, I put on more weight while trying to lose. I researched and decided to try intermittent fasting. In the first week, I've lost 2.5 pounds, which is pretty amazing for me. It's not for everyone, but if you've tried other things that aren't working, it's an option.
  • I don't believe there is any difference. I sometimes enjoy sparkling water with a nice splash of OJ or pomegranate juice (no more than 1/4 cup, if you're measuring). Keeps it low calorie, yet tasty... to up the fancy, drink from wine glass ;)
  • Hi Sara... sounds like we are on the same path! How's it going?
  • Height: 5'4" (barely) Age: 31 HW: 153 CW 150 GW 138 I'm using intermittent fasting (lean gains' 16:8 timing) to drop the pounds. Been doing it just over a week and already dropped three pounds!
  • I've done crossfit in the past, and currently do a crossfit-style bootcamp. Love it, can feel the difference in my body, and recommend it so long as you select a good gym that will watch you closely as you learn proper form/lifting, which helps prevent injury.
  • Boxing, for me. Used to go to a great boxing gym, but it was too inconvenient to get to... wasn't far, but couldn't walk and there was zero parking in a very crowded area. I love my bootcamp gym, which does get the heartrate going despite the overall focus on strength, but miss boxing.
  • Doubtful it burn much on its own, unfortunately, but it will do great things for your core!

  • Hi everyone! I'm 5'4", currently 150.5 (hit 153 a few weeks ago), and want to get back to 138. I started doing intermittent fasting (Lean Gains version... 16 hour fast, 8 hour eating window, so I eat noon to 8pm), and lost 2.5 pounds the first week. That's pretty amazing for me, cause my body loves to hold on to pounds. I…
  • Hey, just joined this group... I'm 31, barely 5'4", and was at 138 for years (and happy with it... I'm curvy and strong, so bring in the 130s looks good on me). In the past year I lost focus on my body/eating, and put on 15 pounds (combination of full time work, grad school, thesis writing, getting married, and starting a…
  • Portion control, stress and weekend eating. My husband and I love cooking, and thankfully 90% of it is healthy stuff... but I will have like twice the amount I should cause it's sooooo good! I also work full time, am in grad school, and my husband and I are opening up our own business selling salt-free spice blends…
