The shorts I wear to bed are getting very loose!

Did my normal walk in my neighborhood today...but 1/4 the way it started to rain. I could have cut the walk short, but I kept going despite the rain, and I even did a little extra distance at the end. When you have a goal, not even rain can stop you!

I was running on the treadmill yesterday than walking! I just felt the urge to run, so I did. Made it 8 minutes, took a three minute rest, and ran another five. The body is changing for the better!

I went for my daily walk outside even though it was already pretty hot and humid at 930am. Smoothie for breakfast and salad with veggie burger (no bun) for lunch. And I'm done eating for the day as of 6pm. If I get hungry I'm having tea.

My Diet Bet. I need to lose 5.6 pounds this month to win. I lost the first 1.6 pounds this last week. Four more pounds (at least ) in 24 days!

The people who lose weight and keep it off have said to people who ask 'How did you do it?' I never gave up! Now that doesn't mean there won't be slip ups or a binge. April 10, per my FitBit, I walked 11,431 steps. Equal to 4.99 miles.

My exercise celebration is that I didn't skip the gym. I did skip this morning to get some errands done. In the past this would keep me from working out at all. But I went at NOON, got my cardio and weight lifting in. Feels great!
