I wish I could afford the polar, but I am recently divorced and am supporting a mortgage on my 1 income was meant for 2 incomes...I was lucky that I could afford this 1.

I am 5 foot 7 inches and have at least 40 pounds to lose, so I don't think the issue is that I am smaller than anyone. I am probably larger than most of you.

I think it must be monitoring my heart rate wrong, because when I put my hands on the heart rate monitors on the equipment there are times when its up to 156.

I wanted to get the pulsar, but I couldn't afford it, so I got a pulse sonic. I followed all of the instructions in the user manual, I entered my height and my weight, I made sure that the chest strap sensors were moistened, I did everything the user manual said.

I always keep hard boiled eggs around. They make a great grab and go breakfast. Jimmy Dean Fully cooked turkey sausage is also yummy and it only take a minute or so to microwave. Throw that on half of a whole wheat english muffin and you're good to go.

I wish that was an option! I'm divorced (getting one anyway), have 50% custody of my girls, and can't leave them home alone to go to the gym...Luckily I have an elliptical trainer that I bought a few years ago and can easily do workout dvd's in the morning before they work out.

Any of you may feel free to add me. I am a 42 year old divorced (well, divorcing) mom of two. I work full time and have 50% custoday of my kids. Balancing everthing is really hard, but I feel like I'm finally starting to hit a rythm on the days that I don't have my girls, The days that I do are a different story. LOL

I like all of the Fage Total 0 flavors. With the exception of the honey flavored one, they all range from 120 to 130 calories. I also like the plain, but usually add fresh blackberries or blueberries to it.

Nuts are great! Pistaccios, almonds, peanuts...they'll add calories and they are a great source of protein. I'd caution you against low carb diets though, I've done low carb several times and while I do lose quickly, I also gained it back quickly.
