Great Job! Isn't it amazing when you feel tired and unmotivated (as we all do once in a while) then all of a sudden something kicks in and sometimes you get an awesome workout. I have a treadmill at home too, now you motivated me to hop on! Thanks! :)

I love pizza and I was not ever going to give it up as this is a lifestyle change. I buy the Whole Wheat Trader Joe's pizza dough (in the refrigerator section). Leave it out of the fridge for 20 min before trying to roll it out! Then add sauce (I like Ragu 2 TBSP), and whatever toppings you want. I use artichoke hearts,…

I try to eat minimum 1 gram of protein per pound of my bodyweight. I lift weights though so that might be too high for you.

I use my Bodymedia Fit! However, before my BMF I used the MFP calculations.

Baked sweet potato with a little smart balance and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Oh, and some broccoli or some type of "green" veggie. Yum! :)

I just bought the Bodymedia Fit Core Armband 3 days ago. So far, I really am enjoying seeing all the numbers. I am going for a 500 calorie deficit per day. I feel it gives me very valuable information. For example I figured I burned about 2000 calories a day (BMR) but per BMF I actually burn sometimes up to 2650. I love to…

I have to eat protein/carbs/fat at each meal (or snack) as i am hypoglycemic and I feel terrible and will fall asleep if I don't. For a fat I like either pistachios, almonds, peanut butter. For carbs a fruit or veggie. For protein a ostrim meat stick, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, turkey, chicken etc....Or a protein bar or…

Yes you can! It will be worth working for it!

Thanks for posting this. I just bought the Bodymedia Fit and I really appreciate all the information you took to provide :)

 Congrats! You are looking great!

First off, hang in there as everything will fall into place as time goes on. The biggest thing is taking the first step and you already did that! We are all here to support each other and that is what is great about MFP :)

I too was concerned about wearing something like the BodyMedia fit on my arm. There is 3 models currently out. I got the "core" model and it is 1/3 smaller than the others. I just got it yesterday and I don't even notice it is on. The larger Bodymedia Fit in my opinion was just too big and bulky. The larger one does have…

I researched all these for the last couple of weeks. I chose the BodyMedia Fit as I believe it is the most accurate. If you go to Bodybuilding.com there is a comparison on there. I lift weights and for this the BodyMedia Fit is way more accurate. I do think the FitBit is awesome though, but just not exactly as detailed as…

Awesome job! You should be proud of yourself!

First, don't beat yourself up as tomorrow is another day! We all have lapses in judgment just hop right back to your eating plan! Perhaps try putting the dried fruit or nuts in individual baggies so you know to just have a pre-measured portion? Or maybe have some fresh fruit already cut up to go to instead as it fills you…

I set mine at 1500 and I eat some of my exercise calories back. I am 5'8 151 lbs.

I don't care where it goes and I never wanna see it again!
