Scale hasnt moved but I came out of the locker room after changing into my workout clothes and my trainer actually said, holy crap, look at you? you are looking awesome. :) *high fives herself*

I'm just over 5ft 8. :) My goal weight is around 138-ish (CW=148) but I'm fading away from that to focus more on my body fat % which I'd like to get down to lower 20's. currently at 28%. :-\

love almond milk... especially since it has a lot less calories than cow's milk. Use it in my protein shakes and smoothies. My son will drink it too in his chocolate milk if we run out of regular.

Have fun and run your own pace. I usually eat ww toast with pb and a banana about an hour-hr and a half prior to the race. Oh and get in line for the porta potty ASAP after you pick up your bib number on race day. :flowerforyou:

I'm 5'8" - currently hovering around 148-150... working on getting that to 138-140....starting to think I need to let the scale "number" go and just work on losing body fat, gaining muscle and getting stronger. Feel free to add me as well. :) Good luck on your journey.

For me it was the fact that I was super, duper active in high school with sports and then going from that to having to sit on my keester and study all the time... coupled with parties, a long commute... led to weight gain. When I transferred from the branch school to the main campus, I started going to the gym for classes…

I try to get at least 1g of protein per lb of my body weight. MFP is way too low.

Teddies All Natural is good. they have other options as well...some with flaxseed. chunky, etc. and i actually find Teddies to be quite thick.
