i had a c-section in 2009. I gained 60+lbs with my pregnancy...I am down to 146 as of this morning (I'm 5'8") no pouch or pooch. flat tummy.

up at 345 on training days... wash my face, brush my teeth, throw on my clothes, down a protein shake and walk out the door to drive to the gym.

I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. Its a whey protein isolate. Most of the flavors are pretty good. Current: Vanilla ice cream. I've also used Dymatize whey/casein blend. And an all natural one called About Time that one of my trainers is a rep for. They are all pretty decent. About Time is "pricey-er" than the others.

I have one cheat meal. Anything I want within 2 hours. Same day and same-ish time of day each week. Mine is usually Friday night. Sometimes I need to switch to Saturday night.

My three year old pats my rear end after I get home from the gym and says "Nice butt mommy, hubba hubba." Clearly learned from his father because he says the same thing to me but I'll take it. :)

I think its easier to run outside... because when you're on the mill, you can abort your mission at any point. At least with running outdoors you know you have to run back. I will always choose outdoor running over tread mill any day. Rain, snow, wind,...maybe not hail...although it could be interesting to run my hood with…

My advice is to find a good training plan also... but find one that has you running 13 miles at least twice (or more). In my own personal experience, I've trained with the plans that only take you up to 10 miles and that just leaves me wasted at the end and then I feel like crap. I ran a few other half marathons having run…
