  • I will need to go peek at this as well... I too have been "clean eating" for the last 4 months... with very little scale change... Hypothyroid, but i keep falling into the4 "normal range" on that... no help from family dr... This may be the next idea to try!!! Thanks so much!

  • May I ask, what does your food diary look like that gets to those calories but only 10% carbs? And not as much protein as I expected. Thanks for the input!
  • I've been told by my trainer to limit my carbs to 100 grams a day and make them more at the beginning 1/2 of the day instead of the end... this I find is easier to do on days where I don't exercise much, but when exercise calories come into play and I'm suppose to eat 1800-2000 calories... VERY HARD to stay below that 100…
  • Oh and another thing... ditto on added protein powder. I'm using the Ultimate Muscle Protein in chocolate, not bad on calories, tastes great even when mixed with just water. 20 grams of protein and only 4 grams of carbs. Just a thought!

  • I too have been struggling with the scale moving. So if you use the "freedieting" calculator... are those calories (fat loss) the amount you should aim for each day as total calories and you can exercise, or do you "eat back" the exercise calories on the days you exercise... and add to the fat loss amount? My calculations…

  • Hi Olivia, Which do you suggest I use from below options... 1. I'm 5'7" 170 lbs 40 yrs old... the calculater here says my BMR is 1474, office job so Maint would be(1474x1.2)= 1768... so set goal to 1768 and my workout calorie goal is 2474-1768=706. Eat no less than 1474, no exercise my daily defecit would be only 294.…
