Read labels. Different brands of the same foods might have different amounts of sugars. If you're eating instant oatmeal try regular oats, or at least mix them half & half to lower sugars.

Michigan insomniac checking in.
-
Usually the information on the label will say something like "Pan fried, drained", so no it does not include the grease.

I have never added fruit to my homemade salsa, but have bought it with peach, plum, raisin, pineapple, cherry, etc. and it is WONDERFUL in my opinion. Growing a large garden this year so hope to make a few batches this fall and will definitely add fruit to some for variety.

Had a cat I named Toonces (after the Saturday Night Live character) for 18 years.

Oh and less sweating.

Standing up from the bottom shelf at the grocery store without using my hands and knees don't complain! Oh and forgot the most surprising one - I live in a college town and as I walk to work I'm getting 2nd glances from college girls at age 47!!
-
I will probably do the walk if I can find a friend to go, knees won't. Allow me to run though.
-
Huh? Do you have a question, or a point to make? What am I missing?
-
Will power and pride. Pride isn't always a good thing but it has helped me with my goals.

Salsa or hot sauce instead of ketchup.

Logging just about everything for now. I suppose that when I find a stable nutrition routine I will stop for the most part. Don't be offended though, I'm doing it for my benefit not anyone else's.

I shopped around, compared, read reviews and finally decided on the Cuisinart Precision Chef KML-KO3B. Stylish stainless steel design that matches my kitchen, with a fitted bowl that doubles as a cover. I am very happy with it. Retail is $50 but can be found for? 40. Found mine on ebay brand new for $30 shipped.

3# in 3 weeks is respectable. I started out like that but after a couple months of sensible eating the weight started coming off faster. Edit: I forgot to mention that have slowed down on the weight loss since then, but body fat is dropping while skeletal muscle is increasing. Well according to my fan y Omron scale anyway.

Fresh real parmesan cheese. Not the dry stuff loaded with cellulose.
-
... Classic
-
For weight only get a Health O Meter balance beam. I see them often on Craigslist for $50, less at local online auctions. For tracking body fat, etc get an Omron HBF 516 if you can afford it (about $70 on Amazon).

After work I find myself reading and refreshing the post list for a long while as I'm winding down.
-
I like to use pico de gallo or salsa.

Now I feel bad for not submitting mine...

I make larger quantities and yes, I log each ingredient into "My Recipes" but then just choose one serving of it at a time until it's gone, then delete it.

I think a police report for stalking is in order, possibly a call to the local TV news crew. They might want to investigate this guy.

I have heard over the years, and my physician confirmed years ago, that chewing ice is an indication of an iron deficiency. I do not know if this is still conventional wisdom or not...

Ha! , I once burned a '73 Vega to the ground. Stoopid primitive electric fuel pumps... I thought that for $35 I would have gotten more than one road trip outta that car.
