I've just downloaded Ripped in 30 and JM 6 weeks to 6 pack, but not sure which one to start. I've heard good things about Ripped. Good luck with your results x

I haven't tried it yet, but have been looking for it. I've decided to try 6w6p instead. Have you done 6w6p? If that's you in the profile pic, I'm guessing that's a yes!! LOL If you have, how was it?

Bump :)

Yeah I've heard eating/drinking protein around an hour after you've exercised really aids muscles repair and eases the aches. Do you make your own shakes?
-
Oh that brings back memories to my first day. I couldn't even string a sentence together for about ten minutes. And I started to ache an hour later LOL Now that shows you how unfit I was so if I can do it everyday, and finish it, anyone can. I wanna hear you scream that mantra everyday. :) Now go take a nice hot shower and…

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's weird because I do have to remind myself, and when I do, that sense of pride is huge. It's like a drug. I'd love to hear about your success when you finish on Tuesday. Please let me know how you got on. I love success stories. Claire x

Of course you can use it. It helped me get through every single day. I hope it helps you too :)
-
It helped mix up my workouts, adding new moves and using different muscles. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even those dreaded planks! All I can say is thank goodness she didn't have me doing burpies. I hate those!
-
LOL Yes, get a new remote but while you're waiting you can use youtube. All three levels are on there and in full, so get those training shoes on, grab those hand weights and get to it! Keep hold of that inspiration :)
-
It was daunting for me too. I left it a few weeks, and thought about it, and even weighed and measured myself but then chickened out. I eventually thought ;do it, and do it now' and I did! You can do it too, and your softie will be a firmy in no time :) Thank you for your lovely words. I'm glad my story has helped so many…

Oh thank you so much. That's such a lovely compliment. The bathroom became my nightmare LOL I had to use the side of the tub to help me sit and stand back up! LOL Thankfully that went away after day four. Then it was arms that screamed everyday! ;) Do keep going, it is totally worth it, not only for the improvements but…

I do Pilates too, and have advanced in that class thanks to the shred. I think they both really compliment each other. Take it at your own level, and you will for sure, see an improvement. :)
-
It's funny because a friend of mine prefers level two! LOL But I definitely felt it in my arms and mine needed that work. I'm still doing those arm exercises as I have noticed a vast improvement to the shape and strength in my upper and forearms now, so it's all worth the pain. Thank you for your lovely words, and good…

DO IT!! Go burn it, if you can because on the DVD you can't skip the introduction, and have to listen to the same five minutes everyday, but if you burn it you can just burn the workouts. I've also been told all three levels are available to watch, in full, on youtube. Good luck and let me know how you get on, because I'm…
-
What other workouts are you doing? I do Zumba, Pilates and jogging. :)
-
Hi Yeah, I added it as Cardio but created my own exercise as MFP didn't it. I created a new one for each level as my HRM gave different calorie burns for each level.

Oh I hear ya, babe. Those squats with V raise killed my arms. It took almost until the very end of the ten days on level two for me to complete those babies! Absolute killers. A rest day does help. Just don't take more than one consecutive as it does get harder to get back into them again. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be…
-
I felt exactly the same way babe. I was overjoyed I had advanced on level one but then level two made me feel like I'd taken ten steps forward and 100 steps back. I think that was one of the many reasons why I cried at the end of level two on just the second day of it. But I did keep going, and I did adapt and develop, and…
-
No, don't get discouraged. It's hard for a reason and you started it for a reason, and those reasons are to get a more svelte shape, and you will! keep going, it does get easier. It's so surprising how quickly you adapt to the exercises that killed you on day 1. Level two was my least favourite but I know others who…

Do it! Do it right now, while it's there at the front of your mind. It's hard work but fun too, and totally worth it all :)
-
Thanks you so much. I just realised you're right I did earn it. that makes it feel even better :)
-
It really was. Thanks :)
-
That does sound like a better plan. Thanks, I'll try that :)
-
Nannybear, you are so sweet and I wish you was my mummy and then I'd have Shezlar as my sister too :)
-
Level two is pure evil! LOL I think I may keep going back to it, too. I was thinking of doing one day of level one, rest day, one day of level two, rest day, one day of level three etc etc
-
That is such a great feeling, when people can see the changes. Well done, and keep going. In a weird way, I became addicted to the pain and if the exercises weren't killing me, I was disappointed. LOL X
-
You will both love it and hate it LOL But keep going because it really, really, really is worth it I am no skinny binny, I swear to you, but I can now see some of my stomach muscles, in particular, by my ribcage. The flabby bit further down still needs work LOL I hope you do come back and post your results. Good luck, you…

Hi Gemma I've just completed the 30DS and posted it on the community with my results under 'My 30 day shred experience'. You're doing brilliantly and yeah, if it hurts you're doing it right LOL Keep going, the muscle aches will go away. For me, it was by day four - five and believe me, I suffered for those four/five days.…

Thank you so much. Now I'm nervous for Ripped LOL Wish me luck ;)

Aww thanks Sazzy *mwah* How many days have you got left on your 30DS? x
