My husband and I tried Halo Top a few weeks ago after hearing friends constantly rave about it. It tasted like chemicals to us...in the trash it went. (The flavor was Birthday Cake.) But the way we eat ice cream--by the occasional spoonful--we can afford to splurge on the real, full-calorie stuff. One pint lasts several…

I only eat pizza with a fork and knife. Any other way seems uncouth. ;)

OP, as others have suggested, I would also like to recommend trying peanut butter powder: PB2, PBFit, or something like that. (Like others, I also like to add things like cinnamon to it--yum!) I took a big jar of peanut butter powder with me when I lived in Japan most recently (as their peanut butter is way too sugary for…

I re-sent it accompanied with a friend request. The mobile version of MFP seems to be lacking sometimes!

I do geeky stuff for a living! I sent you a message, OP

Wow, this thread is old, but I'll add my comment anyway :) I tell people I do low carb because I get weird looks when I pass on the rice, bread, or noodles (I live in Japan), but really, I just limit my carbs. I still get carbs from veggies and such (I'm a vegetarian) but I try to make smart choices, definitely doing my…

Low fat cottage cheese is awesome. A lot of people tend to like theirs on the sweeter side (like with some jam or fruit), but I like mine spicy and flavorful! I love putting Trader Joe's South African Smoke spice blend in it. I've even tried spicy curry powder for an Indian kick!

I'm a vegetarian of 22 years who eats gluten-free roughly five days of the week. (I found out that I have a gluten allergy last year, and after eliminating it from my diet for three months, I can now have it twice a week.)

I'd stay away from the reduced fat peanut butter...yeah, it DOES have less fat, BUT it has a lot of unnecessary chemicals in it to make it that way. Can't go wrong with just a natural-style peanut butter...one with just peanuts and salt, or something to that effect :) I'm with you though--I love my nut butters, and I don't…

haha, that's what I was wondering, Miss Vocaloid :3

David Tennant. Edit: Just saw I should specify why...hmm. Well, it's a Moffett girl thing. :)

I'm 27 and I don't live in the UK, but am a complete anglophile :D

Okay, so I've read these posts, and I think I understand this concept slightly better. I want to look at yesterday's data to see if I get this. Calorie Intake: 1682 Exercise/Burn: 474 (elliptical) + 796 (job) = 1270 Intake minus Burn = 412 So, 412 would be my net calories, right? I'm still confused as to what my net…

What's the point of having such a high (2400) net calorie number? Most days I'd say I'm not above 1000 net.
-
BUMP. I was just about to ask this question myself, as I've been known to have low net calorie days. (Perhaps this explains my months-long plateau. ha)
-
Buuuuump. I'm having the same issues!

I just bought my first Rose cosplay item last week...actually my first cosplay item ever :X

OP, you sound like my boyfriend. He drinks his coffee (and tea) with so much sugar that I can't touch it...it's like hummingbird feed or something. No thanks!

The last time I dressed up for Halloween was in 9th grade or so, when I was Ziggy Stardust. A lot of my friends dressed up through high school and college--and a lot of them still do--but I just don't see the point anymore. I'd rather get glammed up, faux queen style. haha.

Maybe she truly was a high schooler...I remember this real creeper, age 21, who went to my high school. He was a "professional clown" when he wasn't in school and got his jollies by hanging out with really immature girls who thought he was clever. :/

I'm Lisa Simpson too! (And I *love* MST3K...and Chunk! Are you my twin? haha :D)

I used to get horrible, "pinching" headaches after working out, which eventually escalated to constant daily headaches with occasional migraines. Not until I took a couple (some might say drastic) steps did I get rid of these buggers: eliminated artificial sweeteners from my diet and eliminated gluten from my diet (found…

Although it's annoying, I'd recommend taking your measurements as soon as possible. I've been watching my progress closely since July 22 (have been working out on our new elliptical every day for 45 minutes!) and found that although my weight has gone up 0.6 lbs, I've lost 3 inches off my waist and a few miscellaneous…

Somehow, we fit it in my hatchback...that was a bit of a miracle. And it was way too heavy to carry in all at once, so my boyfriend opened the box out on the street and I took it down to the basement, piece by piece. Yikes!

Yay for fellow Whovians on MFP, hehe :) Indeed, I probably should have mentioned what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to lose weight and inches. I'm trying to do better in the food department...for a few weeks before we got the elliptical, I wasn't logging because I was eating too little. I guess old habits die hard :/ But…

I used to drink Starbucks' skinny drinks, but when I eliminated artificial sweeteners from my diet in an attempt to rid myself of painful daily headaches (it worked!), I'm back to their normally sweetened drinks... On hot, summer days, there's nothing better than a grande iced coffee with nonfat milk and two pumps of your…
