Thanks Lynz4589 I have upped my calories to TDEE -20% giving me 1700 a day I figure as long as I am below that somewhere and feeling good then it is all good. Hopefully it will kick start some weight loss for me and then I can reassess, as you say. Thanks for the feedback everyone it is most appreciated :)

No I do mostly cardio so no excess water being retained in the muscles :)

I am thinking along the same lines and find it interesting that MFP calculated my calorie intake to be below my BMR which is excatly my question, so I should be eating more than calculated by MFP?

OK its open now - just ignore the days with nothing in them I was on holidays and couldn't record those days.

Its the before exercise amount calculated by MFP most days I will net out somewhere around that mark too

I have tried WW numerous times (well 2 or 3) and found that yes I lost the weight then gained it back again, the new Propoints plan just didn't work for me at all hardly lost a thing. One interesting thing I have found that is a big difference between WW and MFP is that one meal of theirs was 8 points or 9, can't remember,…

Hearing you with the Thyroid issue. Put on 20kg when I had mine removed then another 20 from kids. I log in daily generally multiple time so hope I can help with the encouragement and motivation Friend request sent Cheers

Love geocaching, haven't been for a while though, have found all the ones near us and having to make a day trip out of it to find more does take some of the fun out of it. Althought they are a great holiday activity. Feel free to add me :)

Hi I also jumped off the WW band wagon about a couple of weeks ago after trying both online and meetings, but found both to offer very little in the way of support MFP is WAY better. Anyone can feel free to add me as a friend. The more support the better off we are :)
