I am probably around 8 or 9% body fat currently (avatar is few weeks old) and I am coming near the end of my cut, I don't do ANY cardio. But I can control my diet and don't really get cravings. Other people are different you gotta find what works for you.

You're gonna gain fat, how much is up to you and how much of a surplus you will be eating. You can't see-saw your diet or you will end up spinning your wheels.

3 weeks away! still shredding to hopefully get down to single digit body fat.

I rely mostly on a calorie deficit to get a shredded stomach, no cardio. All my core work gets hit by compound lifts so I don't bother doing a dedicated ab day.

I currently do weekly re-feeds at my stage in my cut. This consists of raising my calories to maintenance and increasing carbs to 3x my normal intake for a day or two. I am still making significant progress on my weight loss and cut while preserving my lean body mass. This prevents me from plateauing. But that is my…

As others have said, diet is the biggest component in losing weight; I do maybe at most 1 15 minute HIIT cardio session a week and I am still consistently losing weight.

Timing isn't very important, I just tend to take my shakes in the morning, pre or post workout (depending), and maybe one at night. But it all depends on reaching your minimum protein macros (at least 1g per lb of body weight) If I could though I would rather reach my macros using lean meats, eggs, and other sources of…

If you can afford a small set of dumbbells and a cheap bench you can hit almost every muscle group, it is how I started close to 1.5 years ago. Although if I could go back in time I would have started immediately in the gym.
-
Weekly strength gains, now it's a struggle to even maintain a 295 bench.

Probably in the minority here, but something Deep House/Tech House, the deep bass thumps always gets me.
