At the height of my bulk at 185lbs Current/Goal (1RM) Deadlift: 505x1/600 Bench: 325x1/350 Squat: 405x3 / 495 The numbers on the right are what I hope to achieve by the end of the year (Deadlift/Squat goal is gonna take a while). But there is a physique competition in OCT that I may do so strength might be put on the…

I don't play any instruments per say, but I do DJ mostly Electronic Dance Music, and I am delving into Producing tracks as well. It's a fun hobby.

The only one with a decent physique would be Ronaldo.

The only time I use scales is to make sure I am not gaining or losing too fast or gaining and losing too slow, otherwise I always go by how strong I am or how I look in the mirror.

The weekly podcast from A State of Trance, my body is ready for EDC Las Vegas 2014 this week. Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Simon Patterson, Astrix, oh lawd I don't think I can handle all the epic times I am about to have.

All my weight loss didn't require ANY cardio, just a deficit and lifting 5x a week. If I did cardio, it would be because my calories are getting too low or I wanted to eat that extra slice of pizza. BTW I am not saying don't do cardio, I am just saying weight loss can be achieved without cardio. Cardio will help create…

This is one of those difficult to answer questions because everyone's motivation to stay on track in fitness is unique. You have to ask why you want to be fit, you have to set goals to keep yourself focused, praise every little victory. Once fitness becomes a habit it is very easy to stay on track.
-
If you do strength training without a calorie deficit you will either be at maintenance or at a surplus, in a surplus; you will gain lean mass AND fat. Strength training in a deficit will result in you trying to cling on to your lean body mass while burning fat.
-
A lot of people are extrinsically motivated to workout/get fit whether they want to look good, feel good, be healthy. But I feel if they are unable to continue to set goals or do not enjoy the process of getting fit, then they are more likely to lose interest or give up. I am intrinsically motivated, I enjoy every session,…

Don't make the same mistake I did on my first bulk and gain too fast, you will spend more time later trying to trim the excess fat.

-To relieve stress -To be in the zone -To Become strong -To prove others wrong (Had an ex that made the comment that Asians can't get a muscular bod, I hope she is eating her words) -To be an inspiration to my friends who think that their "Ethnicity" will limit their full potential and most of all for them to STOP MAKING…

I don't see a problem with doing Body Combat/Punching Bag on alternate days as cardio sessions, just make sure you are getting enough calories and meeting your macros to fuel your physical activities.

A SCAR 17S .308, as soon as I can afford one, maybe as a gift to myself after another eventual deployment.

Although I am a trance/hardstyle/tech house fanatic I occasionally listen to big room tracks.

I agree, it is the program that I run now currently and it probably help build this physique. Of course I added my little modifications to suit my training style.

100% on number 1, every lb my weight drops below 170 while cutting my heart sinks and I get the temptation to go back on a lean bulk. But this year, I bit my lip and drove on. I don't know how much I weigh now but I am the leanest I have been and it feels good.

I ensure the safe and accurate firing of 155mm high explosive projectiles out of Howitzers.

What started for me as an activity to relieve stress and to forget about tragic life events turned into something that I enjoy. The euphoria I get from fitness is nothing else, the added improvement in looks is a nice bonus as well.

As an additional alternative (if they are going the split route) I would recommend a Push/Pull/Legs split.

It would be amazing to lift every single day, but alas I leave at least 48 hours in between training the same muscle group. And I despise cardio, but I will do it if I am absolutely bored to death.
-
For some reason I leave my TV on the food channel and that somehow satiates me. I don't really know why.
-
Depends on the person.
-
Exactly the only reason I will do cardio, to eat my cheat meals.

Sometimes the things we lose have always been apart of the whole time.
