I try not to focus on the imperfections, but it's hard not to expect to look amazing after reaching your goal weight. I guess I had a vision in my mind of what I would look like at this weight, and it ain't happening. Definitely proud of losing that weight! Will definitely up the weights!
-
Thanks, the two programs I have completed have had me do a ton of squats so I had hoped my booty would've improved. Sadly, still saggy.
-
I began the pr I'm using 10 lb dumbbells right now, so I can definitely afford to get heavier weights. What weight would you recommend? I don't necessarily mind my butt and thighs becoming smaller, just not jiggly and fat LOL.
-
What causes that? I've always been skinny fat too.
-
Ok at least I know I'm not alone in the struggle! I'm 5'5", 129-131 lbs. and still wear a size 6 which is super tight on the butt. My legs and hips are still VERY fat!
-
No, I never do. If I do, I gain!
-
I couldn't agree more. Eat sensibly and use MFP to track calories. I did like the workouts though!
-
Forgot to mention it was equally strength + cardio.
-
No, I just finished a program that was about 2 months long. Haven't worked out in about 2-3 weeks since though.
-
I can't wait to get started! My body is the size I want, just not the look I want (toned and firm vs. what it looks like now - hah!).
-
I'm in that boat. My weight went up and down with pregnancies, and I lost it all but never once exercised to get rid of the fat. Now I'm coined "skinny fat". Thanks, I'll get to work!

Finally someone who knows what's really going on in our country! Flu shot signs are everywhere!
-
Mmmm, that would be a big, fat NO! If people knew what were in those things, they wouldn't be shooting up with them year after year. You're better off getting the flu, and building natural immunity.
-
Girl, that's what I thought! Thank goodness (eating clean is tough business)!
-
So, how can I effectively lose weight without losing muscle mass? I've been doing weight training 2-3x/week.
-
I'm not concerned about the scale, I'm more so concerned about the lack of fat leaving my body LOL.
-
Nope, not the case at all. I'm the smallest I've been even before kids and high school! I've always fought with fat on my lower half though. I thought at this weight though it would've disappeared. Perhaps I'm built smaller than I thought.
-
Wow you look amazing! I'm a tub of fat compared to your pic, even if I am a few pounds lighter. It just goes up and down. I may not be consistent enough.
-
You can see from my profile pic though that there is fat on my legs and tummy, so it's not like I'm trying to starve myself or set unrealistic goals.
-
It's like this, whenever I tell people in person that I need to lose weight they look at me like I'm crazy. With clothes on, I look decent. Without clothes, holy cow the fat is ever-apparent. I do weight train and cardio, (been doing this about 1 1/2 months) about half and half. It's like I lose, and gain, lose and gain.…
-
Holy cow is that you in your profile pic? ;) Yes, I lift...do cardio. ::sigh::
-
Ok, I need some help with that. I calculated my BF to be 25%, but I don't know what my goal BF/weight should be in order to not look fat anymore. Make sense?
-
Oh that's awesome! I'm on day 10 of a 30-day squat challenge, so it sounds like I'm headed in the right direction. Thanks!
-
I love this, lol. Thanks!
-
Thanks! Will begin cardio post-lift. Can't do lunges, jumping, or hardly anything else that would help me get into shape lol. I can do semi-squats (with a chair behind me).
-
Where can i post pics?
-
Is cardio after lifting a personal thing or is it recommended?
-
Thanks, I started at 175lbs post-baby, so I'm good on the diet part. Does excess fat in the lower body equate to lack of muscle or need for more weight loss? I think my frame is on the smaller side.
-
I just finished this workout, and OMG my glutes are shaking they're so sore already! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRuB0rPB9Zs

Ok I changed my diary settings so you should be able to view now. No, not eating exercise calories back. If I eat over 1400 calories I gain weight. I log everything daily and weigh foods etc.
