All of my steps are walking due to a sciatic nerve and hip issues. I wish I could run, but the doctors say no.

31,448 As I see it I need a total of 620,000 steps for August and there are at least four days (most likely more will pop up) that travel and other responsibilities will interfere with reaching my daily goal. Therefore, I am pushing to complete additional steps on days that I can in order to reach the overall target.

Finished week 2; I fell behind after taking the weekend off, but pounded out all of week 2 before realizing that tomorrow was supposed to be day 6.

I have lost a little over 35 lbs. in just under 6 months; although my scale may tell me something different tomorrow after eating pizza AND an ice cream cone today.

This challenge is perfect. I am taking a group of high school students on an adventurous 9 day trip in 6 weeks and need to get into better shape before we leave. My anniversary was on Sunday and I over-indulged all weekend . . . time to focus.
