  • Congrats! You do look great and like some of the others said, you can really see it around your waist. Keep up the great work!
  • Thank you for posting the pictures. I am so struggling to get rid of my regained weight after being on medication. For some reason it has been harder now than the first time. But, thanks for posting the pictures, it has helped me stay on track.
  • I just checked it out and decided to give it a go. Thanks!
  • Welcome! I think a few people make their diaries viewable, so maybe you can look to see what they are eating to stay within the range you are supposed to. Recently I decided to try to cut out carbs as much as possible. It's really hard...LOL! But, I've noticed that if you just eat what nature provides instead of what is…
  • Welcome to MFP! I'm not a fan of the snow...even though I live in the north east...LOL! But feel free to add me if you would like. I'm sure you will meet many people here and it's a great place for support and information.

  • Welcome to MFP! I need motivated too some times, so feel free to add me if you would like.
  • I can't even think of doing either one right now. I've seen the commercials and want to order the Insanity, but don't have the money for it. (got laid off in Dec.) Good luck to everyone and I admire you all for being able to do either one. At some point I'll be able to.
  • WOW! Thanks everyone! I've got tones of new things to try now. I have to admit that I was going to just make cookies with them...LOL But now I've got a lot of "healthy" ways to eat them.
  • Welcome to MFP! I've been working hard to lose my baby weight from 6 years ago. I did really well here, then stopped. I gained over 20 lbs back. So I'm back and back on track. Feel free to add me if you would like and I wish you luck in reaching your goal.
  • I too have had ups and downs. As far as gaining a lot of weight during pregnancies...LOL....I went from 115 to 200 when I got pregnant with my son, so I know that feeling. I'm still struggling 6 years later to get back to at least 130. I almost got there a few months back, but I stopped logging into this site and stopped…
  • I'll be in too. I've got about 20 or more to lose also.
  • Welcome! I love this site, and I wish you luck achieving your goals. I too have a hard time with snacking at night. I have yet to gain control of it...hence my weight problem. Thank you Triquetra! I'll have to give the brushing teeth after dinner a try!
  • Aspartame is lined to early dementia, it turns into fermalidihyde (spelling????) in your system as you digest it. I have heard a lot of bad things about it from my friends who lead a very clean eating life. I actually switched back to regular soda's after I heard some of it, and even doctors will tell you it's bad for you…
  • I would say if it keeps up go to the doctor and have it checked out. I had been running for over a year when my right knee went out on me. Now I just have to take it easy and listen to my body when it starts to yell at me. i don't know how old you are, but I'm creeping in on 40 and I'm not liking how I am more easily…
  • I'm back too! I was almost to my goal when for some reason I lost my motivation and then I lost my job. I'm still jobless but I had put on about 20 lbs, so I'm back and so glad that I am. I wish you the best of luck getting back on track! The fact that MFP is free and there are so many wonderful people here is why I'm back.
  • I've tried both also. I prefer MFP...don't know why, but I do. For some reason I can keep to my calorie goals much easier than WW.
  • Feel free to add me if you want. I'm back on this site after some time off and a lot of gained back weight. I also need the help.
  • Welcome and good luck with your fitness goals. Having a personal trainer is great and you are lucky to have that.

  • I have been on this site for some time and it works. Recently I had some events that caused me to lose sight of my goals and I stopped logging my food and I stopped exercising. Well, I gained a LOT of weight back, so here I am again...ready to get things back on track. The support and motivation is great and you will learn…
  • I've heard both. That going under puts your body into starvation mode, and I've heard that no it doesn't depending on how long you stay at a very, very low calorie intake. Like 500 or less. And Welcome to MFP! I want to eat clean, but so far my cravings are in controle.
  • I got off the sodas for a while and now I'm back on them I dread the migraines that I know I'm going to get when I stop again, but I'm going to have to agree with what some people on here are saying. Lots of water and if it gets too bad, drink like half a soda to help. Good luck!
  • Like everyone has been saying, you look wonderful! Congratulations!
  • This site is a great place to meet people and get the inspiration and motivation you need. Good luck!
  • I am so very sorry for your loss. I myself almost lost my little girl to cancer when she was 2. But thankfully God saw fit to let her stay with me. She is now cancer free and going to be 10 next month. I also have a little boy who is 6. Before I got pregnant I had gotten down to my ultimate low of 113lbs. Then…I got…
  • I love this site. Everyone is so nice and supportive. I think you'll like it. Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • Welcome to MFP! I'm sure you will meet many new people who will help you in your journey. I know I did!
  • Welcome to MFP! Hope you find all the support you need here. It is a great site.
  • I struggle with this all the time. I am very OCD and part of my problem is that I eat compulsively. I don't want to eat, but it's like I'm possessed by this food crazed person and I always feel horrible after it's over. I know that all sounds pretty crazy. But the logging of the food I eat has helped to a degree. Someday I…
  • Welcome to MFP!
