Congratulations! It does indeed become addictive :)

That's amazing :) Great work! :)

I don't think it should be limited to people who have terminal illnesses. It's your life, if you choose to end it, you should be allowed to. Why make it gruesome and brutal ala home remedy when we could offer lethal injections? I don't necessarily think you should have to pass rigorous mental examinations. I think you…

Ugh, 3 hours late with the megachurch link :( No cookie for me.

They structure it to make you feel like it's impossible but you build up and then you realize you CAN do it. For me, even though I have graduated, I still have a hard time running the 20-30 minutes straight segments. I keep plugging away at it and hoping that they will continue getting slightly easier.

Nice job Jessie and Varda :)

Thank you :3 And congratulations to you !! :)

31.38 miles :D ran today instead of yesterday. woohoo! I feel like an animal :D even though some people run 30 miles in like 2 days haha. victory for me!

Only on light days. So I get 2 days of awesome cramping and lounging with a heat pad on, eating under my cal goals :p
-
27.3 miles as of last night :x Nice job Plex! :) It's kind of cool seeing how far you've come and how far you're running.. I love using Endomondo for that because it tells me like how many cheeseburgers I've burned (not as important), how many trips to the moon, etc. :) Kind of cool. Plus it's nice seeing the running…

Ah, gracias! :) The power of Google. Sometimes I forget to do it myself haha!

Thanks :) I totally crave running! I think that started kicking in during week 5. On my off days, I would wonder if I could sneak into the gym! Week 6-9 were horrible for me though, I would suggest slowing down so that you don't feel like you actually hate running WHILE you're running :p I ran a lot better (as I said) with…

Bananas, citrus fruits, cantaloupe, tomatoes, watercress, green leafy veg, sunflower seeds, avocados, lentils, potatoes and whole grains I hear ya on the bananas thing, I love them but I have such a hard time eating/peeling them. I don't like the chalkiness. :D

I'm close :D 23.3 miles as of Monday, another run tonight. So after my Saturday run, I should hit 30 :D :D And thanks for all your guys' support! I'm not sure how to work on my "cadence" - any tips for that?

I actually just finished the c25k program and so I started c210k 2 days ago, at w9d1 (where the 5k app left off). I don't know if I'm going to finish the app just yet but my goal is to get more comfortable running 30 minutes at a time because I feel like it's just SO difficult but that doing the longer intervals and…

@joe - that's hilarious :) And good on you for doing it anyway! So... I've felt like my runs were horrible from week 6 through week 9. Running 30 minutes straight was just awful and despite running the whole time, I don't run fast enough to meet 3.1 miles so I was getting frustrated. Yesterday I decided to do the couch to…

in for the recipes, I LOVE Indian food :)

Spurlock consumed an average of 20.92 megajoules or 5,000 kcal (the equivalent of 9.26 Big Macs) per day during the experiment. 9.26 vs. 1-2. -not so anonymous vegetarian (eta: not trying to be too snarky, wasn't sure if you were quoting an anonymous vegan or you yourself are the not really anonymous vegan ;D) Also, cals…

Thanks to you (and Plexgut!) for the motivation :) I graduated the program (W8D3) Saturday and am doing the continuation on to couch to 10k to keep myself moving (and hopefully help with my time/breathing/endurance). :) Uphill battle for me.

I just finished the c25k program and I frankly thought it got harder after week 6. I haven't had a good run since! Lots of talking myself into not quitting. I'm hoping to round the corner though :) http://www.runnersworld.com/beginners/easy-going-first-run One of my friends' friends posted this on her wall today and I like…

Great job! :) I just finished my app/training and hope to follow in your footsteps at my first race. What an accomplishment! :)

hummus wrap (I need to get veggies haha) and gravenstein applesauce :) yum

Add 3.1 today. I don't feel like a runner I guess is what I'm saying - every run since mid-week 7 has totally sucked. Including today but I muscled through it!
-
Good luck! :) I'm doing mine in about 4 weeks :D

I guess I don't run nearly enough :x 14 miles thus far for me! Was going to run W8D3 yesterday/today but I'm feeling quite sick so I'm going to wait and see how I feel after work. Then I'll be at almost 17 miles :x Small victories for a non-runner ;)
