5'4", approximately 162 lbs, I eat at 1550 and even though it says I'll lose 0.5 lbs a week, I think this is closer to my maintenance, personally. I don't exercise as much as I used to, but I don't eat back calories for strength training logged (because I don't think it's an accurate calorie burn); I muddle with eating…

I just have to say - steamed broccoli is like the worst thing ever!! :p But I'm one of those people who prefer my veggies RAW. Find some veg that you like and dip in plain greek yogurt or hummus. Eventually you should be able to bridge the gap between the 1 or 2 that you like and the plethora of other options. And I…

I second this. However, I do not want kids.

I second budgetbytes.com - some great ideas. When I was living on a student income (a.k.a. dirt poor) I ate a LOT of beans, frozen veg, rice and tofu in different combos. I bought a variety of (cheap/sale) sauces and spices to liven things up; for breakfast I would do eggs or oatmeal. Wasn't the most fun ~3 years I've ever…

Wow way to pull it out!! :) Very inspirational, congratulations :)

I can't eat before I exercise or I get nauseous. I've read recommendations to eat small amounts of food 1-2 hours before you work out, adjusting accordingly for how negative of an effect it has on your stomach / ability to exercise :) Good luck!

I was recommended Superman's to help with back (my back area is weak too): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cc6UVRS7PW4 as well as sit-ups on an incline bench (your head at the bottom, your feet at the top, bring your torso up to the halfway point :D)

The first two don't work, but the second two HOLY COW! Congratulations!! :)

Looks more like 800-900 cals.

hahaha. feel free to friend me :D you can scoff to yourself at how much coffee creamer I use on the daily and in return, I promise to thumbs-up half of the stuff that shows up on my feed :p

me too! I even took a week vacay to Hawaii, was in the sun all day every day, came back and had my blood test within a week and I was not even close to meeting the minimum passing criteria /cry

I know you said oatmeal was something you've tried, but when I mix peanut butter into my oatmeal, I am SET :) I can eat like 700 cals in the morning or more and still be hungry in 3+ hours so I feel your pain. Good luck :D

I had the FitBit Force (that's the newest one, right?) and it hurt my wrist so I returned it. I think I'm going to go for a HRM because that's what I wanted most anyway and honestly counting steps didn't really do much for me and I have a sleep app on my phone that works better than the FB did. Good luck w/ whatever you…

I find I have to add a little salt or truvia to the plain PB2 if I'm eating it solo, but it's great mixed into things as others have said, and for baking! Love it! :)

I live in an apartment too but fortunately my complex has a small gym on site with limited options. I find that a lot of the things I'm doing at the gym, I could theoretically be doing at home :) So here goes: running (it's too cold for me outside/ice everywhere but I like to run outside instead of on the treadmill these…

I call that "the weekend" ;)

Alba - she's GORGEOUS! but I do live JLaw's humor :) I just think Alba's hotter.

Y'all are overachievers ;D When I did the c25k, I didn't exercise on my off days for the most part. I would walk my dog, which I do every day, but nothing else. I started the c210k app and think I will start doing weight training in the off times this go 'round :)

I've spent well over $7k and my dog is just now 5.5 years old. She's had big problems since she was a puppy (seizures, ureter stone, hernia, intestinal issues). And I would spend every damn cent of it again and again and again :) I love the hell out of my dog. I could say more but I'm too passionate to make this a short…

I'm hungry all day, every day. I feel your pain :brokenheart: I can literally eat a giant meal and within an hour, be ready to eat again. Doesn't matter what I eat: carbs, protein, etc. I am still always hunger games :explode:

in for inspiration :) I think I need to join a real gym (my in-complex facility doesn't have bar or kettle :()

Yeah that person clearly didn't read your food journal. I went through about a week's worth to see how much you were eating and noticed that you're trying to lose about 20 lbs. I'm not sure if 1500 sets you at 1 lb a week or what (we're the same height but I have about 15 lbs on ya ;D) but slow and steady wins the race…

I'm an imported Washingtonian? :D Bellevue

If you DIY, in a hurry, you typically leave those loose ends anyway. But I agree, it would be best to have your affairs in order. If you make the easiness of it too in-accessible though, then it might deter people from PAS and going back to DIY. I would imagine it's pretty difficult trying to think of others and their…
