Thank you to all wonderful people for the speedy responses l. Here is the attached screen shot of the 2100 calorie goal. It makes sense that i should ignore it then.

Thank you for all the helpful answers: I am a female, 5ft 2inches and at 57 kg. On mfp i selected sedentary lifestyle as wasnt working out and chose to lose a pound per week. Yes i mean my daily calorie burn goal is 2120 calories which i never achieve. I always hit 1800 maximum. Thats what I dont understand how to achieve…

Just also wanted to know...even if i choose the 'lose 2 pounds a week' option....when i click calculate goals it still says you will lose an average of 0.8 pounds a week?? Does that mean I have to up my exercise since going below 1200 is not an option?? thanks once again. U all are so smart...hope to be all savvy about…

thanks for clearing my confusion everyone! i will try to workout harder...i cant be underestimating my eating but yes im definitely eating lots of fried stuff or takeaways...even though i dont exceed my 1200...i guess its true that u have to eat healthier to lose weight its just not always about the calories!

thank u so much TeaBea...so il stop the push ups...but are ab crunches and all the other ab exercises ok with a back pain?

thanks for your reply...it was quite sudden and iv never had it in my life (Except for pregnancy which is common) so thats why was a bit concerned...i wonder if back pain occurs through pushups because thats what i tried yesterday! i will definitely see someone about it thanks :)
