  • If you're honest with your food diary it should be some easy math to find out if the HRM is giving your realistic numbers. I use the Polar FT60 and regularly see numbers ranging from 800 - 1200 calories burned while walking for 1 - 2 hours at 60% - 70% MHR (28 / 5'11" / Male / medium build / 165 lbs).
