Me to. I always see myself as slender. It was a shocker recently to see some pics and get a reality check! I need to lose weight!

I am an evening snacker also. In the past I would start work without breakfast and forget to eat till 2pm. Now I have a zone or fiber bar and eat lunch. I find that eating more during the day helps me be in control better at night. But I still want to nosh at night, so I just changed the way I do it. I have wine but drink…

Which Zumba did you buy?

So you never logged on the computer but lost the 40 pounds just from using MFP phone app? Good job!

For some reason the moves just come really easy for me. I didn't bother with the step by step just jumped right in. If you watch the DVD's you can see patterns including repeating movements during the choruses etc.

Beto (the creator) is a guy and there are lots of guys doing Zumb on the DVD and they have great bodies and look like they are having a blast!

I weigh myself everyday. I also don't want to be disappointed by a once a week weigh in. So daily weigh ins help me stay on track and see where I am and what I need to do.

Yes, good points. I can see where someone could easily set up MFP as very active and then count exercise calories on top and not lose. However, if I end up eating a few less calories since I exercised and if I am not hungry, I am not going to go out of my way to eat those calories. I have had a couple days where MFP says I…

Have any of you tried Wii Walk It Out. If you enjoy Leslie, you will probably LOVE Wii Walk It Out. - A very motivating game that will have you walking for miles and miles and loving it!
-
Awesome! I love it also. I find it much easier than other programs and sites.

I tried Zumba for Wii and did not like it as much as I do the Zumba dvds Those are pretty awesome. Just Dance has a lot of great music but it stops between songs. So for regular exercise I like Zumba best. But they are all a lot of fun. Wii Walk It Out is amazing if you like to walk!

I have the WW at home program (from 2008) and I like MFP more. I think it is easier to see what you have to do when you look at calories eaten and calories burned.

I have that extra 70 pounds of baby weight also but baby is in her twenties! I never got rid of the weight I gained with the pregnancy and then added more. But I do agree with others to take it day by day, eventually it will come off if you persist.

Even though you feel like you are overweight...be sure to appreciate the weight you are now. I remember when I was so much lighter and thought I was fat! Be sure to appreciate that you do not have more weight to lose and take care to manage it so you do not gain more.

I do a lot of melted sandwiches on it. A little cheese, turkey and mustard and 1 slice bread or Arnold's flats. Also really great for fish dishes, bacon, eggs. Very handy.

It depends on the material but jeans weigh usually weigh 1 to 2 pounds and some are heavier. You may have weighed yourself at a different time of day also.

Wow! What would you consider your top tip - besides using MyFitnessPal of course...:)

I usually drink green iced tea, but in the winter I will sometimes add a bag or two of cinnamon to zest it up. Delish!
-
I switched from diet soda to plain iced tea. The grocery store iced tea usually has a lot of junk in it, so I make my own. I bought an iced tea maker, and I make a fresh pot every couple days. I use a combination of decaf and regular tea bags.

It sounds like you know your weak point is when you go to the gym and don't eat. So maybe you should prepare for that and have healthy snacks ready like a cheese stick and cracker, hard boiled eggs, celery and a little peanut butter. That kind of thing. Sounds like you are doing great with the exercise so you sure don't…

If you think about it, in general fruit is about 80-100 calories, so naturally if you eat to much of it you will gain weight or have trouble losing. I have read a few comments from people on the WW points plus program where they shared that they could not lose weight because of to much fruit. The general guidelines for…
