  • Thanks! I feel better about it now. Lily, the 1500 doesn't count in my exercise calories. Seems I have a higher metabolism than I thought, thus more calories.
  • I started on Sunday so today I finished W1D3 (running days are Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday). Sunday I did outside and ran/walked 2.08 miles in 39.31 minutes (19 avg min/mi). Today I ran on the treadmill and ran/walked 1.66 miles in 31.14 minutes (18:49 avg min/mi). So I'm making progress!
  • You can do it! I have a shyness problem too. My ex husband used to call me a unibomber because I'm so hesitant in social settings.
  • I bought the P90x system, but couldn't keep motivated to give up the time to workout at the house. (The dogs and kids don't really make me accountable.)   • Way to Go! I'm just now starting to run myself. It feels great.
  • To not give myself any temptations I bought small bags of pretzels and little halloween trinkets to give out. If I would have bought Twix, Peanut Butter Cups, or Snickers I would have had NO will power.
  • That is So Great! This motivates me to keep running. The half marthons in all 50 states is really cool too! Travel and running all in one, I like that goal a lot.

  • I copied the lemon bar receipe and plan on making a batch this weekend. Evil office had chocolate cupcakes today. So far I've been strong and had an apple instead. However, I have smelled them a couple of times.
  • I'm still trying protein bars. I haven't been able to find one I really like that doesn't have a bunch of calories. I Like the Dove dark chocolate idea!
