I think you probably know the answer...you need to get in some more activity. How about walking, Zumba class, or picking up a short exercise DVD a few times a week?

I stumbled across this post and I hate to say it...but I laughed out loud. I was SO you last year! I will never forget the day after my first round of 30 DS. My God, I could barely walk--sitting on the toilet was torture--going down stairs was nearly impossible. I could barely sleep! It was terrible. By some act of God, I…

I think it's an amazing difference. You are totally tightening up! Wtg!!!

Hi ladies...welcome RheneeB! Today I started Week 4 of Turbo Fire....Fire 45 with stretch 10. It's funny--I actually like the HIIT segments too. They are tough but at least you get a one-minute break. I swear, Fire 45 EZ is the hardest of all because it has no HIIT in it! I can totally relate to the Thanksgiving weekend…

As a working mom with a very high stress job (RN) there are some days when I am emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausted at the end of the day....really, so exhausted that I feel I have to muster superhuman strength to put my sneakers on. (Working out in the a.m. is not an option for me.) Here's what I do: I tell…

I have a couple tips: put a small amount of goldish/white shadow on the INSIDE corner of your eyes--it will really wake your eyes. I agree with the bronze tips, but I also swear by peachy gold shades for blue eyes.

Too funny! My dogs and one cat lay around and watch me too....I thought my pets were the only ones obsessed enough with me to do that!
-
You look amazing! Congrats on all the hard work you've put in!!
-
I am entering week 4 and loving it so far. Feel free to friend me for support!

Beautifully said. The "old me" peeks out and scares me sometimes too. But you are strong and doing amazing!

I've lost 67 lbs. without setting one foot in an actual gym. Walking/running with the dogs is awesome. I am also a big fan of fitness DVDs. I had great results with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred, RIpped in 30, and No More Trouble Zones. I am currently doing a fitness DVD series called Turbo Fire and I cannot tell you…

Hi Jacci! Today was my HIIT 15 and Tone 30 class. That Tone 30 was TOUGH!!! My arms are still trembling! Now off to make pies....
-
You look amazing!!! What an inspiration!
-
45 EZ kicked my tushie!!! Harder than any of the other workouts, including Fire 55, in my opinion!

How did I join this group and not realize there was a daily check in??? Duh...anyway, I'm here! I did HIIT 25 today and honestly, it wasn't too bad. I have HIIT 15 tomorrow so I will be able to compare them directly for you while it's still fresh in my mind. Anjy--you will do great--can't wait to hear what you think! As…

Do you have enough self control to take 2 bites and either toss the cake or give it away? Good luck!

I just saw a kid suck ketchup straight out of the restaurant's squirt bottle on the table....and the parents didn't say a word!

This isn't about him....it has to be all about you and your willpower. I say this because I understand. My husband is food-obsessed and naturally thin. He does not understand my issues with food, not will he alter his lifestyle and food choices because of me. In the beginning he would bring me home food (just like that pie…

I am loving my BodyMedia Fit Core Armband. A little expensive but totally worth it on my weight loss journey.
-
Have never tried valerian root or sleepy time tea...will definitely check those out, as well as the Snooze In....thanks!
-
Also, I loved the Weight Watchers pedometer and it was only $20. The HRM doesn't count your steps. The Core Armband does--but again, it's $$$.

I have Polar FT4 heart rate monitor (it is a watch and chest strap) which I believe was $79. I love it for feedback during my workouts. I also now wear a BodyMediat Fit Core Armband (kind of like a BodyBugg), but I think that is more than what you are looking for. It cost $179 but doesn't actually use your heart rate.…

I have a Polar FT4 with a chest strap which I love. It keeps me motivated and allows me to continually check my heart rate during my workouts.

I would really like to get rid of my lower belly pouch! I do care about numbers, too, unfortunately. I want to be in the "normal" range for my height.
-
How wonderful....you will be amazed to see how those NSVs start snowballing! Congrats to you!
-
Bert16...16 miles at 9 mph? Wow...I can't even imagine.... Anyhow--do you have access to a HRM with a chest strap? I've always heard that's far more accurate. Your Garmin does sound like it's on the low side...unless perhaps you are very tiny?
-
My experience has been the same. I wear a Polar FT4 and it is always higher than MFP. I think this may be because we weigh more than the "standard" person MFP bases their data on. Good for you for running!
-
WOW! you look amazing!! Congrats on all the hard work! Did you have fun at the party?

Your ticker quote is one of my very favorites. I started off my journey with 99 lbs. to lose. I have 64 down and 33 to go. If I can do it, you CAN do it too! Feel free to friend me!
