Great job!!! Didn't you have fun while you were sweating your head off though??? :) I am starting week 2 tomorrow...we can get through this together!!

Tageekly, congrats on doing the 30 Day Shred. I think you will find it has set you up well for Turbo Fire. I am doing the 12 week plan. Just starting week 2 tomorrow. Who knows, if I like it enough maybe I'll get the advanced DVDs...we shall see!

I have made my decision after reading everyone's opinions and experiences, and mulling things over...Drum roll please.... I just cancelled my WW account. I am slightly terrified. However, as many of you pointed out--I can just rejoin if MFP doesn't keep me in line. I also sent a message out to my MFP friends that my weigh…

Yes, any grocery story or drugstore.

MissAnjy and I are on an almost identical schedule, except I will be taking Saturdays off. So tomorrow will mark the end of Week 1 for me. My weigh in is on Monday and I can't wait to see if I lost anything this week! I currently weigh 185 and my goal weight is 150. I have already lost 64 lbs. with Weight Watchers and…

My husband got my BodyMedia Fit Core Armband at Best Buy for $179. You can also get them online at www.bodymedia.com, Amazon, or other websites. It's awesome!

Yeah!! I'm in! We can do this!

What I have found is that when I am in a good place emotionally, I have more mental energy to focus on weight loss. As you know, being committed to weight loss requires enormous effort: planning meals, shopping, exercising, tracking food, staying motivated, etc. etc. When your mind is clogged up with other more pressing…

Yeah, and it's cheap! To think of all the money I wasted on expensive cleaners that were stripping my skin of oil and making the problem worse!
-
Thank you Elle!! Take care!

Do you have a Pandora or Chamilia bracelet? You could reward yourself with charms.
-
MissAnjy--I am taking Saturdays off instead of Weds.--so very similar to you!

I would love to join a TurboFire group but I just started it (for the first time) on Nov. 7. Would it be okay if I join even if I am a couple of weeks ahead of you?
-
I also love that you clapped for yourself! You should!! That's awesome!!

I am a chronic insomnia. All of the above are great suggestions. I would google "sleep hygiene" (weird phrase, I know) and follow those general guidelines. I also take Melatonin 3 mg at bedtime. When I am desperate, I take OTC Unasom (doxylamine succinate) which helps me somewhat. Most importantly, I avoid all caffeine…

I also just started Turbo Fire--intense and definitely not boring!

Hi everyone! I just started Turbo Fire this week--did day 3 today. I am keeping blog about my journey through Turbo Fire and thought you might get a kick out of it...Any tips you can share would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's a tie between lunges and side planks. Both are torture for me.
-
Absolutely amazing. Congrats!!!! Would love to hear your story...

Separate Ways by Journey. Damn, I'm getting old too.
-
Thank you--that is exactly what I need to hear! I just love this website--everyone here just "gets" it. Best of luck to you!

I'll second the Jillian Michaels' DVDs--30 Day Shred is a favorite. Ripped in 30 is good too. No More Trouble Zones is awesome for toning. I actually shelled out the big bucks for The Firm Express. While it was fun, it was no way near as effective as my $8.99 DVD of the 30 Day Shred. Happy shopping!

Check your circuit breaker. This happens to me about once a month. Fingers crossed that's all it is!

Fun NSV! Enjoy your new undies!

I've done most of the variations mentioned above--love them all. One easy way which I also love is to take the cooked spaghetti squash (microwave or roasted--I personally much prefer roasted if you have the time), and top it with fresh salsa from the produce section, and reduced fat sour cream. VERY yummy & low calorie!

You and I are so similar... I am 42 and really pushing myself to engage in my life, activity, social relationships, etc. I'll send you a friend request so we can support each other. Good luck!

I can totally relate. It took me two years to take off these 64 lbs. Sometimes I get stuck for months. But you know what? I am keeping it off, even making progress right now in making the scale go down. When I first started WW, two dear friends were struggling through horrific divorces. One was theoretically doing WW with…

Thanks everyone You've bolstered my courage! Planning to start on Monday, will keep you posted!

I've lost 64 lbs. without setting foot in a gym, thanks to workout DVDs (30 Day shred, Ripped in 30, The Firm Express), a treadmill, and some dumbbells. You can do it!

I have never been one of those people who drank tons of water. I drink probably about 4-6 glasses of water a day, and I've been doing fine. I'm guessing the folks here have access to a bathroom all day....I am a visiting nurse, and if I drank that much water, I'd have to catheterize myself just to survive my driving time…
