  • I have a Polar FT7 and love it. It's not a whole lot different than the FT4 if price is an issue. Probably one of my best investments that I've made. :) I found that if you put the watch farther up your forearm it doesn't cut into your wrist when you have to do exercises that require your wrists to bend (planks, push-ups…
  • Definitely up for a nerd night, don't have a whole lot, but there's always setting up a steam group. Then you can talk no matter what you're playing :D
  • You can adapt a lot of the exercises to use what you have. Not everything requires gym equipment or even a gym membership.
  • I quit WOW a couple years ago, but spent the better part of 4 years completely addicted. Started to get a little bored so I moved onto consoles and FPS. Halo 2 will always be a favorite (might be because of my friends at the time). Current: Borderlands (PC) Company of Hereos COD L4D2 (PC) Need to pick up: Portal 2 I play…

  • I'm on Stage 3 and love it. It definitely gets harder as you get farther into it. And for me it got more fun. But I also love lifting weights! It's not for everybody, but give it a shot. It's all about overall results. Invest in a tape measure, because a lot of your progress is going to be in inches not necessarily the…
  • I use the same mouse w/ the G15 keyboard ... awesome on all accounts. Had it for a few years now never a problem. Headsets I'm in the market for as well, currently have a basic USB logitech that I've had for probably 5-6 years. I'd like something a little nicer, but not super expensive either.
  • Welcome! :) Feel free to add! :) Hoping to transfer back to Boston soon!

  • Quinoa tastes a lot like rice. I've made plain w/ just a little Mrs Dash seasoning (I used garlic/herb) and it turned out great. Or you can cook it in broth instead of water for a little extra flavor. I've used it in a variety of asian/thai dishes instead of rice. It's really pretty versatile. Give it a try.
  • Add a cup of coffee if you like/can handle the caffeine and it's the ultimate ultimate pre! :) Found that out by mistake when I was on vaca earlier this year.
  • Huh that's how I think most days! ;) I do have some things I should "think" about doing today.
  • I knew basically what you do and was able to put my own PC together it's pretty self explanatory now and gives you step by step instructions on how to do it. And there is always the Google if you do get stuck on something. I ordered a bare bones kit off Tigerdirect last year, it's pretty sweet and was around $700. You…
  • Protein powder sometimes. It's best with iced coffee but works as a great "creamer" in hot coffee as well. otherwise light half n half or black w/ 1 truvia/stevia.
  • 4/28/12 - 175.0 *** 0lb loss I didn't expect a loss this week actually, I figured I might gain a little if anything. I added NROL4W back in and could definitely tell the difference since I went 2 weeks w/out working out at all. Pretty sure next week I'll be good for a drop though. Just had to get back into my old routine.…
  • Friend request incoming :) Always up to help motivate!!
  • LOL just what tshirt addicts need ... more tshirt sites to check! :) YAY!
  • I'm equally as addicted to shirt.woot.com . I seriously think 1/2-3/4 of my t-shirt wardrobe is now from there. But hey good tshirts used to be hard to find. And I like a variety. :)
  • That's around when I have my nightly protein shake. Low carb, low sugar, pretty low in calories even. And tends to curb my sweet tooth. Otherwise maybe a piece of string cheese or some yogurt.
  • I'm playing borderlands on the PC while watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and talking to my equally as nerdy best friend. LOL
  • Great program, I highly recommend it. I'm starting Stage 3 up on Monday. You may notice a little weight gain in the beginning, but you'll definitely see the difference as you get into it. Sometimes it's hard to wrap your head about, but concentrate on how your clothes feel. And how you feel. Make sure to take progress…
  • 4/21/12 - 175 *** 1lb loss - YAY! Reached my first weight loss goal! Pretty excited about that. Puts me at 30 lbs lost since Oct :) And still going strong. Looks like I'm averaging about 1lb a week for loss (4-5 lbs a month) I'm happy with that pace.
  • I rearranged my room so I could watch TV and game at the same time. Because I need more distractions! :) Xbox streaming netflix and PC playing Company of Heroes (because I had nothing better to do).
  • Hate to admit it .... Bakersfield. Transplant though ... East Coast girl at heart (hopefully moving back in the fall!) :)
  • I might have to get sushi this weekend now ... hmm! :)
  • Put frozen berries in the night before and place in the fridge, they defrost by the AM and have great flavor. Little honey or agave Protein powder PB use it instead of mayo (yuck!)
  • 4/14/12 - 176 *** .8 lb loss - almost a lb but also TOM so that accounts for some ... still happy w/ the progress.
  • Love sushi and sashimi ... the best! Tuna and salmon are always go too's for me. Tried some new things the last time I was in Vegas and those were equally as good. Don't remember all of them. But either way I will always try new things. Hmm now I want sushi!
  • If you are feeling uneasy or like you might hurt yourself then definitely take a break. If you think you could do it either at a lower weight or body weight, then go ahead and do that. LIke KCF said, trust your body. It'll tell you how it feels. :) For me, I'd probably take an extra day off if they are relatively sore. I…
