I LOVE "Organic Pizza" especially the AMY'S Brand...and it is relatively healthy. As with all food it's about portion control. I make a lot of my own version of 'pizza's' at home, using wheat english muffins and loading them up with veggies....so I agree it's not PIZZA per-say, it's how you choose to make it! :)

First and foremost you have to believe in yourself and support yourself, and if you are lucky you will have a couple of family members and or friends that have your back and support and encourage you. (I have an Aunt who has been a size 2 her entire life, and she keeps telling me if I would "stop eatting bread I wouldn't…

I think the recumbent bike is a good way to go. Since I haven't had surgery yet on the other knee anything with squats or lunges is out of the question, and a lot of those programs incorporate moves like that. I had a recumbent bike but didn't have room for both it and my treadmill...I think Ill check out my apartment gym…

Girl you ALREADY have an hourglass! :) Now you are just shaping it to your version of "perfection" :)

I think that most people have a vice or something that they get their hands on and can't stop eatting whether it's cookies, chips, booze, ect. The difference with compulsive eating is usually it's high amounts of food in a little time, so say 12 cinnamon rolls in 20 minutes. A lot of times a compulsive eater will "hide"…

Switch it up! And Remember, No one said it will be easy all the time. If you aren't having any luck with the program you are visit a nutritionist or see a personal trainer for a couple of sessions to see if they incorporate something new that you haven't tried or thought of yet. Do you do the same cardio? Try something you…

Everyone will be different. Before I injured my knee I was playing volleyball 3 hours a night. I would play two-on-two sand volleyball in 90 degree weather...today I'm lucky to get in 30 minutes of cardio....partially due to the injuries but also because of the weight gain. As weight comes off obviously you can start…

You can never go wrong with a gift card and a small gesture gift, like a cute bracelete or a spa gift basket! :)

I will tell you the best advice I learned doing weight watchers...it's YOUR life, YOUR journey...YOUR weightloss, (or weight gain if that is what someone is doing) so if you are not a 'typical breakfast person' no one says you must eat eggs, cereal or oatmeal during the morning hours. It's about watching your calories and…

This site is full of great people with a lot of encouragement and advice. Of course it is up to each one of us to actually do the work, track our food and be honest, but use this to help you along the way and you are guaranteed success with the combination of the two! Good Luck! :)

You all are AWESOME! I copied and pasted each recipe you gave me onto one Word Page so I can take it home and try your suggestions! I love eatting chicken, but just never knew how to make it myself, this will help immensely!!! THANKS!!!

I am right there with you, after losing 60 lbs I torn my meniscus playing volleyball and needed surgery but didn't have insurance. THEN I broke my ankle and am finally back up walking and ready to shed the weight I put back on...we are all in this together!!! :) ADD ME I love supporting and finding support and advice! :)

I love seeing all the Talls Girls!!! YAY ( I think in my town I am the tallest person both male and female! LOL) 5'11 and I like to wear 2-4" heels always! :)

Welcome! This is a great place to find support, encouragement and advice along the way. And I agree, those pasteries are addictive! Now I just NEVER go down the bakery aisle, because I look odd cursing at the pasteries for looking so dang good... makes other shoppers nervous! LOL

If you ever have to question anything that you are experiencing with your body...then ALWAYS seek out a professionals opinion, for the bare minimum to have piece of mind and to make sure nothing serious is wrong!

Me too, my favorite is after closing out the day you get that reminder that if you keep it up you can get to a certain weight, very motivating! :)

I would have never thought of this but what a great idea! Sounds YUMMY!!!!

If you subscribe to XM Radio they have a station called BPM which is good beats for working out! I have a subscription and it's only $10.00/Month! :) IF you get internet on your phone I hook mine up to my treadmill and play PANDORA through that with whatever genre of music I am in the mood for.

I think Jackie Warner is AMAZING. I don't know if it was the 10 in 10 I tried but I did the one where you cut your sugar to cut sugar addiction....and I found it super hard (as soooo many foods have sugar) but the messages where great and I believe in her workouts whole-heartedly. I'd definitely say go for it...what does…

Recumbent Bikes are wonderful for people with knee issues. I've had surgery on my right knee (volleyball injury) and still need it on my left knee (I didn't have insurance to get that taken care of yet) through all of that the recumbent bike and walking flat on the treadmill was the exercises that kept the weight coming…

I have done weight watchers and have been very successful with it as long as I was honest with my tracking. That is how I lost all my weight over a year ago. When I suffered two injuries and could no longer workout I attempted to go back to WW and just follow the food plan and found it much harder to lose the weight I did…

I learned a long time ago my weight isn't anyone's issue but my own, and throughout life there are going to be "temptations"...holiday treats, going out to restaurants with friends, birthdays, people bringing in unhealthy eats, ect. ect. and you can either approach it as an obstacle, one that can or can't be overcome, or…

I think I can do 10 ;)

I currently have a desk job as well. The best thing I have found is to pre-plan all my meals so I am not going out to eat or eatting any of the unhealthy candy in the office. I also keep hand weights under the desk (when no one is around I can get in some reps) and when I actually do get to take a break I make sure to get…

I agree! Having a support system is so important when trying to lose weight and be healthy.
