Vegan for three years and vegetarian for 10+.

Can you not order a Coke a la carte if you REALLY need a soda that badly? I don't see the big deal here.

I eat closer to 1400 calories, but feel free to flip through my diary! As a quick overview, some of my favorite vegetarian foods: - Tofu scrambles! I use the recipe here: http://www.theppk.com/2009/10/tof-u-and-tof-me-scrambled-tofu-revisited/ - Big stir fries with tofu, tempeh, veggie sausage and tons of veggies over rice…

Bacon is overrated.

Hot cereal made with rolled oats and TVP, carob powder, cinnamon, 1 tbsp crunchy peanut butter and half a banana. Coffee with coconut milk creamer and SF vanilla syrup.

I keep my water bottle filled at my desk. I don't really "like" water, but I find I'm more apt to sip on it if it's sitting right there.

I leave enough calories to have a bedtime "snack" - usually 1/4 cup dry Goya Yellow popcorn (110 calories for a huge bowl of popped popcorn!) and sprinkle it with whatever I'm craving that night - sometimes it's Mrs. Dash Mexican Blend, sometimes it's splenda and cinnamon. I have that and a hot tea with some soy creamer…

I always liked Muscle & Fitness Hers, but it's best to get a subscription because I don't tend to see it in stores very often.

Sugar Free Maple Syrup? Also, sugar-free fruit preserves and a little earth balance would be deeeeelicious.

I walk 20 minutes each way to work. My activity level is set to sedentary, so it gets logged in addition to my daily exercise.

Oatmeal with protein powder and peanut butter.

Alcohol is expensive and overrated. I've more or less cut it out, and I have no regrets.

I make cold-brew coffee in a huge mason jar and keep it in the fridge. Since it's not "brewed" in the traditional sense, I find it less acidic. 1 cup coarse-ground coffee 4 cups cold water Swirl water over the coffee grounds, making sure ALL the grounds are soaked. Store in the fridge for 10-15 hours, then filter through a…

Goddamn Skippy peanut butter.

Oatmeal with protein powder, veggie chili with TVP, and stir-fries with tofu, tempeh or seitan (sometimes a combination of the three!) are my go-to meals. They are packed with protein, delicious and nutritious!

PB2 pretty much changed my life. Peanut butter is a food that I really have trouble portioning, so the fact that I need to make the effort to "prepare" a serving of PB2 helps me out a lot. It's delicious on toast or rice cakes with banana, or blended into smoothies and oatmeal. But keep in mind that it is "defatted", so…

No, I would forage or farm for food.

I'd suggest reading and watching as much as you can about how meat gets made - I watched Earthlings, and now the sight of meat repulses me rather than looks appetizing. Also, maybe volunteer to make dinner some nights, or at least allow them to sample some of your meals and see how great plant-based foods can taste. Even…

What would be unhealthy about removing fish from your diet? If it's a question of nutrients, I'd be happy to help!

Reggaeton Pandora Station.

I completely misunderstood and thought you were looking to take out fruits and veggies as well - I may have mixed this up with one of the responses. My bad!

Turn to foods like tofu, tempeh, seitan and textured vegetable protein, as well as nuts, seeds and low-carb fruits and veggies such as avocadoes, berries and cauliflower. Also eat plenty of oils (coconut is my favorite) for fats. This may be doable for awhile, but if I were to follow these guidelines personally, I would…

Clif Builder bars are my favorite!

People have leftovers from Chinese restaurants?

I think my favorite part of this post is "I can't stand vegans, no offense".

Yeah, nothing quite as trashy as feeding a child... Look, I pretty much can't stand babies, but ultimately, that's what breasts are there for. Feeding babies. If it's not your thing, look away.

Cleanses like that are pretty expensive gimmicks. Your body is pretty good at "detoxing" itself without outside help. Save your money for something else.
