I finally gave up trying eggplant. I really wanted to like it, but damn.. it's so gross to me. I tried growing it- nope. Farmer's Markets- nope. I just don't like it! Which makes me sad, because I love the color, it's super cheap and a lot of the recipes sound so damn good. Eggplant, you win. I will stop trying to eat you.

I've been stuck in California for the last three years. There's a prop 65 thing on pretty much everything. When we got our water service, there was a Prop 65 warning. So... I should stop eating/breathing/driving/being outside/wearing sunscreen/drinking anything?

I do not plan on stopping calorie counting. I like it, it makes me feel secure and I don't feel like I obsess. I can go to a party, and snack. I can eat out, and I can eat homemade food. I don't restrict. I don't want to become another statistic.

I tried peanut butter poptarts, and they were delicious. It reminded me of a PB cookie when toasts. Why throw money at a fad, that you apparently don't like, when you can practice sustainable moderation! Weight loss = fewer calories in than out. You don't need an overpriced fad to do that.
