It depends on a person's goals for going vegan. Just not eating any animal products does not equal good health and nutrition. Eating a prudent balance of healthy foods, combined with regular exercise and sufficient sleep, equals good health and nutrition.

This thread is so terribly sad. Alcohol ruins lives. Some things are so dangerous and destructive they should be completely avoided. Why do many in our society believe the seductive "moderation" lie?

It's been two months. The information is inaccurate and incredibly irritating. Why hasn't this been fixed? Get rid of the "tips" or give us an option to opt out.

Just reserved some permits for Mt. Langley in the Sierra Nevada in California (14,026 ft.) Some friends and I are going to climb it this summer. Super excited about this trip. Sometimes the planning/anticipation is half of the fun!

Some people who don't normally like veggies find that they like them roasted. Try putting some olive oil on them and cooking them (sweet potatoes, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, even Brussels sprouts!) at 425 for about 35 minutes. You might become a veggie lover. :)

For most people grains are very healthy. Yes, there are some people who have health conditions where grains should be avoided. Wheat is especially nutritious. I believe we get the most benefit when we keep grains whole.

Some people have allergies or certain medical issues with grains. But, for most people, all grains are very healthy--especially wheat. :) As with your diet as a whole, variety is important.

Yes, and how about averages for the other things we track too. All they show now in the reporting section is a bar graph, It would be so simple for them to just show the average numbers. Not sure why they won't add this.

I have the highest admiration and respect for those who quit. To those who have done it, congratulations...what a fantastic thing you've done for your body and future health. Always be on guard so you never go back! To those who want to quit, don't give up. You are stronger than your urges and it will be worth it.
