I've been on and off MFP for years...a few years back I lost a good amount and gained it, and more back. Been working pretty hard this past month and would love new friends! Add me! And anyone else feel free to!!

I did! I live on an island and we have some amazing swimming spots. I recently came across a hidden gem...a pond with so many rules enforced most people don't go except to exercise. No jumping off the dock, no touching the pond bottom, no loud noises. And I absolutely love it. It's quiet and serene and an awesome spot to…

Wow Stephen, thank you for sharing your story. That gives me a lot of hope that swimming is really going to be my best bet. And I'm with you, I hate the after feeling of a workout and being sweaty and disgusting. With swimming, you just feel refreshed :)

That is such a great response! Thank you so much! I want to get back into freestyle, but I've found breast stroke is easier for me so I am easing into it. Also, does anyone wear ear plugs? I really can't get water in my ears, I get such bad swimmer's ear!!

Raspberry vodka and soda water. Delicious and low calorie :)

I love the Skinny Cow candies! They satisfy my sweet tooth after dinner and they aren't a ton of calories! Or, mini ice creams (like mini drumsticks). I know I am not able to cut out sweets so it's just moderation.

I tried a 10-day trial of this, because my friend is a coach. I was skeptical, but she swears by it. I did this in Oct, and had been dieting since August. I had hit a plateau, and w/ shakeology I lost about 6-8 lbs (give or take). I didn't really like the taste, and couldn't imagine paying $120 for 24 servings. BUT, I lost…

uhhh...I stopped reading after the "having skinny friends" part. Sorry dear, I think we need to have better attitudes than this!

Everyday, or sometimes every other day, after a shower in the morning before I have eaten. Weighing myself so much weekly keeps me on track. I'd go crazy if I only weighed myself once a week. I only record weight when I have gone down a full pound, and never record less than a pound. It works for me, but everyone is…

I am on everyday! Feel free to add me!

If that person can't accept you (and is MEAN) they are not worth your time. You have accomplished something AMAZING and any significant other should be supportive and proud!

South Shore outside Boston :) Feel free to add! We all have amazing weather coming for getting outside and exercising. I love fall :)

150 is my major goal!

I hear you. I too hate exercising w/ people around me. Always feel like they are staring at me. Sometimes I go to the gym and just suck it up! Other times, when the anxiety is higher I turn on a Jillian Michaels DVD (I get a better workout with her than the gym most times). Another thing is to scope out some kind of wooded…

I'm game!

For me, it's the general uncomfortableness of living in my own body. It feels like being stuck in a trap that is impossible to escape from. Not only does this limit my energy and athletic abilities, but the feeling of anxiety that comes from it is debilitating. It's the little things I worry about in life...I want to…

I was diagnosed today....pretty upset. Like my weight isn't difficult enough to handle, now I learn it's going to stay that way :( Add me!

Also, I would just like to vent about the doc who diagnosed me... After she told me she couldn't get me on the pill because she wants blood tests first ( I HATE needles) she says, "You're a librarian, go home and research PCOS. I don't have time to go into details." Umm, isn't she there to give me details!? After the blood…
