This is making me so happy! Glad I posted  My goal is Mother's Day and if I do it every single day I will finish the day before! What a great gift to myself. If I fall short then Father's Day will be my new goal, then hubby will have a great gift...LOL.:blushing:

No it isn't. The chest strap will monitor your HR the whole time and really is the best way to get the most accurate reading. Nothing is 100% but a HRM with a chest strap is as accurate as you are going to get.
-
I always trust my HRM as the site is used for everyone and doesn't take into account height, weight and age. What kind of HRM do you have...does it have a chest strap?

I eat a whole bag of popcorn every night at 9:30...no guilt here, it's only food and since adjusting my life my needs for sweets have diminished greatly....says the girl that could eat a whole cake in 1 day

Wow some have had great success in a short time! I was looking to lose a few inches in the waist..none in the boobs or they might disappear altogether  and the last 8lbs wouldn't be too bad either. I like the workout though. My thighs were super sore for a few days and today I finally have no pain...bring on day 6!

No more then 1200? It should be no less then 1200. Your body NEEDS to function plain and simple. ETA: You say you are no expert which neither am I but the experts agree 1200 is a bare minimum also factor in that in that 1200 calories MFP already has created a deficit so if you are adding exercise you are just not giving…

I don't usually use crystal light because the aspartame will give me a heachache but I do use the nestea iced tea singles with sucralose. It is 5 calories per single and it is how I get all my water.

Kraft calorie wise italian...5 calories for 1tbsp...and it is yummy!

Level 1 Day 5 done...Whoo hoo! Half way through level 1! I am sick with a cold but managed to get it done! I will not miss a day..I will not miss a day...I will not miss a day!

Any updates? How is everyone doing?
-
A friend just mentioned this diet to me and I was wondering how everyone was doing...updates please
-
I didn't know that. I am not sure the 30 day shred would be considered intense but it makes sense since no one else in my house is sick but me and I am generally the last one to get sick.
-
Thanks. I think it is just a head cold. I am not worried so much health wise I just am trying to figure out how to get through my workout. I guess doing the best I can is better then doing nothing. I will take my cold meds and then when the stuffiness subsides a bit bang it out. Maybe I just needed to complain about being…

I have only got to level one and have to say I don't mind the jumping jacks it is when they are followed by skipping then MORE jumping jacks...it kills my legs! So I hate that particular combo...each are fine on their own but together and so many no way!

This may help too : http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/202392-a-visual-about-mfp-and-net-calories

Yes you need to NET at least 1200 and eat back your exercise calories. What is the point of exercise? Well to be healthy and give your body the fuel it needs to function. ETA: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/10589-for-those-confused-or-questioning-eating-your-exercise-calo Basically MFP already gives you a calorie…

Just wanted to add that as you get closer to your goal weight you will want to eat more not less. You want to build up to your maintenance calories. I have 8lbs to lose and am eating 1560 calories a day and eating back most if not all of my exercise calories.
-
Aww thanks...I was wondering what I was doing wrong!
-
 I can't find it!
-
You are so close to your goal you should be eating more anyway. I am no expert but have recently upped my calories from 1200 to 1560! It was a crazy jump that felt weird. I expect to lose slower as my goal has changed from 2lbs a week to .5lbs a week. I would say to change your goals in MFP and see what it says use that…

Sounds cool....off to have a look  Thanks:flowerforyou:

I may be wrong here but if you were on 1200 calories a day and did not eat your exercise calories you were not giving your body the fuel it needed so maybe it entered starvation mode. Now that you are eating more your body is hanging on to every little bit thinking you are going to go back into starvation mode again. I…

If your diary is accurate even going back to March it is rare that you hit 1200 NET. If you are eating under your calories then that just isn't good. Your body needs more. Maybe just try upping your calories a wee bit and see if that helps or at least try and stay at or just over the 1200.

A very good read if you haven't seen it: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/12250-1000-calorie-deficit-not-for-people-with-healthy-bmi

It looks like you aren't eating enough. Most of your days you are eating under the 1200 cal minimum and with only 14lbs to lose you should be eating more. I hava 8lbs to lose and just recently upped my calories as per some advice from other MFP users. Not sure how tall you are but if you are already at a healthy BMI then…

I have been using my Wii Fit board to weigh for just over a year now. I weigh on bare floor, in the same spot, with bare feet and wearing the same thing every morning. I can weigh myself 2 or 3 times just to see and it is always the exact same weight. When I use my bathroom scale it can vary but up to 3lbs within seconds.…

Make sure your net doesn't drop below 1200 calories! There are some serious low days there where your body only had 500 calories to function on and that is just not good!
-
Got my Polar FT4 on ebay BNIB for $49.99 with free shipping.
-
Are you actually netting 1200 calories? Do you eat your exercise calories?
-
If you go to polar's site they have a great comparison tool. I believe most do come with a chest strap but make sure it is the new wearlink one. The first HRM I had just at the TF-31 transmitter and you cannot change the batteries yourself. This one CANNOT be changed by you...has to be sent away:…
