There are several websites that you can type in what you have in your pantry then it will give you suggestions as to what you can make with those ingredients. One is allrecipes.com and I think Kraft, Betty Crocker, and Pillsbury have the same feature. Check it out!

As a matter of fact, my doctor just told me that my thyroid is a little sluggish. I just looked at my lab report again and the number is 5.220, so I'm thinking I may take her advice and go on some medication to alleviate this problem. Thanks for your reply. Caralyn

Tekla, I am 65 and I too face the same challenge that you do. I had two total knee replacements a few years ago (at separate times) and my hips aren't all that great either. Consequently, my exercise is somewhat limited. I can do about 15 minutes on my treadmill and I can do about 30 minutes on my recumbent stationery…

Here are my thoughts on ANY diet aid, whether it be liquid or pill form....any diet aid instructions that I've ever read say it is to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise. To me this is a no-brainer. Take away the liquid or pill and just do the diet and exercise and you still lose weight. So why not do it without…

Yes, swimming would be a great option and I especially like the "no sweaty feeling". I do know that I need to get my priorities straight, also, because making the time and effort to do this is really a drag for me - as I'm sure it is for many people.
