I tried Adios two years ago and after about a month ended up with palpitations which I am now on medication for. My heart is calming down now but it'll take a few more years to ween off my medication. Don't do it.

I like the idea of a mini challenge....it sounds more achievable. So here's mine. 1. Only eat bread once this week (monday to sunday). oh so bmr and maintenance cals are different things then? I just used the calculator you had a link to on another thread to the mayoclinic and my maintenance calories should be 1700. shall I just ignore the 1309 bmr then? My body fat is 31.8% so just so I'm clear. I should eat 1250-1450 a day (because maintenance is 1700)…

Ok so I want to try this as I'm at a standstill with weightloss and inches. Im 33, 5ft 4, bmr 1309 (according to mfp calculator), bmi 23.4 and 137 lbs. I have set my goal at 1100 but tend to eat 1200 ish. I can't remember how I came to the conclusion of 1100 but I think I made it up myself(?). I run/exercise dvd 2-3 times…

Hey I'll add you. I'm also 5 ft 4 and always hovering around top 130lbs/bottom 140lbs. Nice to meet someone with similar goals. Ideally I want to get to 133 but like you say....keep pushing to see what is realistic for my height. :)

Add on the way! I do the same.....I'm good and log everything (good and bad) for a few months then i miss a couple of days and don't get back to it for weeks....by which time my weight has slipped back to where I started. Hopefully we can encourage each other to keep logging!

I also measure just under the bust where my bra sits. I often loose inches there but no where else.
