  • I think the whole idea od this site is that you CAN eat anything you want, but you haev to learn to fit it into a long term lifestyle... Balanced with excerise, sleep nutirents and moderattion.
  • i have gone from thin/skinny to muscley (for my frame) - eat more protein, do more weights, less cardio!!! active social life involving mutiple drinks on the weekend doesnt hurt either! haha
  • There is a guy at my gym who talks to himself "good one, you can do it" - i mean i get self motivating thoughts and proclaimations, but shouldnt they occur in your head!!! haha
  • I am a HUGE pilates reformer fan, I think it is the single most body shaping excersise i have ever done. Additionally it works on your fleixblity, builds strong posture and is great for those with injuries - there is a reason they use it in phsycial therapy and rehabilitation. however if you think you are goign to lose…

  • It actually could be right - i am a small girl, and I am very fit - i haev a resting heart rate of between 45-50. It takes me FOREVER to get my heart rate up, and it also takes me alot to get a big burn. To put in perspective, i burnt 400 cal on a 10 mile (fast) reun. Tips i use are 1 min going as hard as you can at a high…
  • What about Paxil - any comment?
  • I was goign to say i have been craving beets EVERYDAY this week - and KALE. To me that says my body wants vitamins - i think vitamin C mostly...... Do you find that also?
  • im the opposite - resting heart rate of 45, takes forever to get my HR up, i can do 10 mile run (fast) and not even hit a 400 cal burn.........
  • so much fiber!... does that not cause, er.... other 'issues'???
  • rice paper rolls i bought from the supermarket which had avocado, cucumber carrot and crabstick in them - pulled off the ricepaper and mashed them up into a salad with lemon juice and a bit of spicy sauce. Sounds discusting but really very good!
  • Okay there have been alot of tourist suggestions but i would steer clear of all those places to eat! Some places I love in chicago: Steakhouses: Maestros, chicago cut, gibsons, 3forks non steakhouses: RL Restaurant (ralph lauren), RPM (GUliana and Bill ransic's restaurant), Paris club lincoln park zoo, art institure,…
  • Or you eat more to compensate the extra cals you are burning?
  • Hi there this is a situation I know all too well. I ahve had chronically severe anemia for the past 4 years. I have been told this is due to having celaiac disasese and my body not being able to absorb it properly. My issue is the iron stores (feritin) which at one point drpped so low that the doctors wondered 'how i was…
  • Have you chained somethign abotu your diet? I get this if i eat things with artifiicaial sweetner (chewing gum, no sugar items) or carbonated drinks (even worse if they are 'diet/no sugar')... Other culprits could be gasey foods like broccoli beans or even perhaps wheat/dairy if you have an intolerance
  • its also the probiotics... but you can buy that in tablet form...............
  • I actually disagree with this. I know its not a 'scientific' fact, but for me, sugar hinders my weight. Anything else i can work around but sugar alters my mood as well as my phsyique.... I actually think there is some truth in the fact it assists weight loss.
  • I just think its hilarious! how elemenatry! I thought alot more people woudl have opinions! I guess everyone is busy on a saturday night!!

  • anemia can be caused nby many things than simply a deficiency in the diet and sometimes changes in the diet wont actually impact the iron absobtion. I am celiac and have an iron absorbtion problem. My hemotologist has said this is really common for people with digestive disorders (chroms, celiac, coloits, IBS etc) - and in…
  • um this is a joke right? America is the land of EVERYTHING...
  • I woud debate this however in the context of regulary going over your sugar content will be detrmiental to your general wellbeing. I am the prime example. I used to live a VERY balanced lifestyle high protein, lots of vege no dairy gluten (allergies), then i needed to drop some wirght i had gained. So i started subsituting…
  • I have this also. Does anyone know how to PREVENT it?

  • "My average calorie burn is between 3,300 -3600." <that is a HUGE burn - is that your TDEE or your excersise burn daily??? I excersise like crazy and can rearely burn above 300!!! DO you have an HRM? if not, perhaps you should invest in one, you might be overestimating the burn and therefore you might be okay with your…
