Pet names within a relationship don't bother me, but I have a coworker who calls me "bud" all the time and drives me crazy!
-
I started the day with 10 minutes of yoga, did Zumba at lunch for 45 minutes, and ended the day on the elliptical for 48 minutes.

It took me 2.5 years to lose 50 pounds and I have recently gained a couple back, which is my normal. I'll drop below my last low and then put on a couple more, and continue this pattern over and over. I'm a very slow loser because of this.

haha! My mom and I got our belly buttons pierced together :)

Thanks. You've all given me alot of good ideas. I appreciate the help!

When I'm eating, say I have rice, veggies and a pork chop. I will eat all of one thing before starting on another. Like all the rice first. Then all the veggies, then all the pork chop. I never start another food item before finishing the first. I rub my feet together when I'm trying to fall asleep. I giggle all the time…

I would be fine with that, but I make meals for both me and my husband and he is not ready to give up his favorite foods, so I'm trying to find healthier ways to make the things he loves without spending every free moment I have in the kitchen. Thank you for your response though. I just may have to get creative.

I recently went through something very similar after doing exactly what you did. Running too much, too fast, in poor shoes. I also thought I may have a stress fracture, but it turned out to be extreme inflamation. My doctor had me take 2 aleve, twice a day with food for one week while staying off my foot as much as…

Running is awesome! Have you ever seen an obese marathon runner? I think not.

I don't worry too much day to day, just as long as I'm good week to week. For weekends, I workout extra during the week in order to have spare calories on the weekend. I also try to fit in a workout during the weekend for even more calories. If your just eating out of boredom rather then hunger, I find drinking water all…

I found that my acne disappeared as I removed processed carbs and sugar from my diet. The less I ate, the better my skin was. I also found that staying hydrated helps my skin look more refreshed. I used to use facial scrubs and masks regularly as well as prescription creams from my dermatologist (even as an adult) and now…

I'm doing something similar. It's a 27 day sugar challenge through my work. We can have fruit and natural sugar but nothing with processed or added sugar. Today is day one and it's going really well. :)

I'm 4'11' and have lost 47 pounds so far. Still looking to lose 20-30 more. I always like making new friends :)

housekeeping at a hotel. People treated you like crap if they noticed your existence at all. Breathing in all the chemicals while cleaning the bathroom. Being accused of stealing anytime someone lost anything and not getting an appology once they found it. People destroying rooms before they left....WORST JOB EVER!

They way I think of it is like this. Diet helps you lose weight, exercise keeps you from gaining weight. But for me, being active keeps me in the right mindset to make better diet choices and eating healthy makes me feel better during my workouts, so they go hand in hand. If you have success doing one at a time that's…

First THIS^^^ Second: Don't feel bad about something that is supposed to happen when you work out and don't feel bad about something just because someone else decides you should. Take pride in that sweat! You EARNED it! It is evidence of the work you are accomplishing. Who cares what a couple of nitwits think.

Ironically, I was in my high school history class

I've been having that same experience. Things I used to LOVE just don't cut it any more. I'm happy about it, but it's an odd experience.

Why don't you try just lessening the bad foods for now rather than giving them up entirely. Try eating fast food only 2 times a week instead of 3, or when you go order less of the foods you enjoy. Maybe replace just one pop a day with a bottle of water. Maybe also start incorporating healthy foods you might enjoy along…

That's the quote that got my attention too. And those genetic considerations should be taken into account before determining if someone is overweight as well. And they should also include muscle mass and metabolic health into the equation. BMI is so flawed people need to stop using it as a ruler to measure others with.

I'm interested in what others have to say about this as well.

Atleast 5 days a week, once or twice each day and I average 6 hours per week.

I think alot of people like her, but I also happen to find her annoying. However, I will still do her videos on occasion because she knows her stuff, but I also usually mute them so I don't have to listen to her talk.

Well, I try to adapt what my husband likes into what I can have. Sometimes that means I eat a salad while he eats whatever it is he wanted, sometimes it means I just eat a smaller portion of what he likes, and sometimes I make minor adjustments so we both get what we want. Meaning, say I'm making fettucini alfredo, I avoid…

I like to cook fish by sprinkling seasoning oneach side and cooking them in a pan on top of the stove. All you need is a little spray in the pan (I use canola spray) and throw in for a few minutes. It's quick and super easy.
