Do you get a lunch hour? Do you work near a gym or can you go out and walk? I also work two jobs and commute to a different city, so my time is limited. Every day I go to the gym on my lunch hour. You don't have to workout for 4 hours a day - that's insane! LOL

I used to weigh myself every day but it was messing with my head. I put the scale away and am weighing once a week now. Friday AM - after I pee, after my shower. It's working so far!

Listen to booty shakin music! LOL At the gym I sing along and find myself mouthing the words... at home I sing out loud!!! Gotta make it a little more entertaining somehow!

If I buy regular milk I always buy organic - it last A LONG TIME!!!! I don't like the taste of soy milk. I LOOOVE Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. Yuuummmm

My gym is also $10 a month (eliminate one dinner out and there ya go!!). But I agree that there are plenty of inexpensive DVDs out there and Youtube.

I put my scale away almost 2 weeks ago. I was getting so frustrated that it wouldn't move in the direction I wanted it to. I weighed in this morning - 2 pounds down!! :) I'll say 100x over, losing weight is more MENTAL for me... putting that scale away helped me a TON!

Quit and then what? A guaranteed gain? Every time I think of quitting I think of the alternative and the fight to lose is more appealing than continuing gaining weight.....

For your immediate calculation... I do 30 minutes on the Precor Elliptical and depending on how hard I push myself I burn anywhere from 250 (easy day) to 350 (kicking my *kitten*) calories. This is figured with my HRM. You look like you could POSSIBLY have around the same stats as me.

YES!!! I workout at lunch and I count down the minutes until I can leave the office! It's a nice break in the middle of the day.

But when it comes back out within a half hour do you really have to count those calories anyway? That's probably what causes you to lose...
