  • I have a Droid X2, pretty big phone (at least bigger than the iphone and hadn't been able to find an armband)... I use a hippie runner belt that I bought at a race expo...they look really small but both pockets expand. Minimal bounce, I really like mine. Here is their site:…
  • ~5/23/13: 166.8 this morning. 5/30/13: 168. I gained... not gonna lie, I'm bummed about this...but I'm hoping it's new muscle. We shall see! 6/6/13: 164.8. Down two pounds overall! I'm not sure if it was a fluke or not, but I am noticing my legs are looking better. I also signed up for my first marathon and started…
  • Awesome job, Mrs. Biscoe!
  • No worries... I didn't get my lunges or mountain climbers in, I did my long run this weekend and was pretty wiped out. I will be doing the veggie thing today and will probably try to squeeze in the other two for a nice cross-train. How did everyone else do?
  • Yesterday's workout was 6 x 1/2 mile repeats with 2 minutes in between. It was....rough. For fiber, I'm loading up on my veggies today!
  • I guess since I am starting this over again, I should update the weekly weigh-in. ~5/23/13: 166.8 this morning. 5/30/13: 168. • You can add me! After being out of commission all winter, I am getting back to regular running, currently averaging 4-6 miles and doing my first race of the year (a 5k!) this weekend. I am signing up for an October marathon as well! EEK! I'm so scared and so excited!

  • How's everyone doing on these? I made it through the burpees surprisingly well. I did four minutes of wall sits and even got the hubby to join in! Then we did a 1 minute plank, 30 push-ups and some crunches. Not bad for a night's work! As for a new workout... I'm probably gonna try doing some speed work tonight on my run…
  • Being active is better than being on the couch!
  • That's awesome! Some is better than not at all! If it makes you feel better, my upper body has been jello for the last few days! haha!
  • Alright, I'm down!
  • How did we do?! I am pretty proud of myself for completing all of the challenges. I even did real push-ups! Not the girly ones! I can barely lift my arms today, but I did it! I've even got the hubby asking what our next challenge is... any ideas?
  • Two is always better than one! I'm thinking weigh-in/check-in once a week. I updated the weigh-in post, too. It doesn't have to be weight loss, I got some of the girls at work to join me in the "real world" and one of the girls has an overall goal to get off of some of her medications, or at least get closer to that goal.…
  • Hi! You can add me, I'd love to have some support as well...After losing 30 pounds (slowly. very slowly), I've been stuck in the 160's for quite some time. Also, I just posted a new 50 day challenge called Spring Into Summer Challenge. It starts today and goes to July 12. Join the group "50 day challenge!"

  • You are welcome! So easy to make and they taste great! Enjoy!

  • I make my own... so easy and no weird "extra" ingredients! And you can flavor it however you want! •1 cup whole wheat flour •2 cups unbleached white flour •1/2 teaspoon baking powder-I use the aluminum free variety. •2 tbsp. ground flax seed meal (optional) •1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil •1 cup hot water •a pinch of salt…

  • I love running as well! I am slowly building my distance back up after a winter of sickness and injuries. I'm hoping to do a marathon this fall! Feel free to add me!
  • Today is the day!!! Check out the discussion forum for a fun Day 1 Challenge! I hope you'll join me!
  • I just posted a spring into summer challenge in the discussion forum! Check it out!
  • I don't think you necessarily need to do a juice fast, although juicing is a good way to get rid of junk in your body... Honestly, you should just eliminate processed foods. It's cheaper to make things from scratch and you have control over exactly what you are eating. An example? pre-flavored rice/soups-tons of sodium and…
  • I've been so off track, this morning I was at 169. No real change, but I've been battling illness this entire month. Marathon training started this week, so I'm going to be more on track!
  • It looks like you are losing about a pound a week. That is nothing to sneeze at and honestly, the best way to do it! You are doing just fine, you'll start to see changes...maybe try measuring as another way to judge? Keep up the good work!
  • I haven't seen much of a change... but I've also been very off-track due to being sick most of January and getting a promotion at work. Marathon training started this week so I am back. Ready to do this! 1/2 - 171 1/9 - 170 1/16 -168 1/23 - 169 1/30 - 2/6 - 2/13 - 2/20 -
  • SW-168 CW-170... I gained two pounds.... but I'm happy it wasn't more! It's also a certain... ahem...time of the month so I'll settle for it... but I can definitely say that I overdid it on the munching this week. So today, back to routine.
  • Yay! So excited for the next 50 days. I want to get back to consistently working out. The month of December has been rough as I've been perpetually sick. My body is begging me to get back to a routine. I am aiming for 10 lbs. I want to be better about balancing fueling my body and not over or under eating. I neeeeeeeeeed…
  • Forgot to do this on Wednesday-I've been pulling doubles all week! Ugh! Anyway, starting weight as of this morning is 168 lbs.
