Just checking in...No INSANITY for me for the past week my ankle is still not great, I had a trip scheduled to my parents house for the holiday weekend, and ended up getting sick and I'm still sick now. Haven't been eating well or at all really. Gonna nurse myself back to health hopefully by the end of this week and I'll…

For now I am lucky I have a two year old. However the other day I was on the phone and I look over and he had gotten a Capri sun roaring waters out of the fridge for himself no asking just cause he wanted one. Well he had just had one maybe 30-45 mins prior so that's a "no" you already had one. I then had to start the…

I am currently doing INSANITY I'm in the middle of week 3. This is the type of program that support and motivation are important (at least for me). If anyone is interested in a support group there is a group on here called "are you insane, starting MAY 6th" most of the people in the group are where I am in week 3 but…

I have a picky two year old, work 10 hours a day, and need time to do daily living things. I definitely don't have time to cook two meals so my little one will eat, my parents never did it for us why would I do it for him? In the beginning I became anxious when meal time was approaching because I knew 8 out of 10 times he…

Started Pure Cardio and I have been working through a lower leg/shin/ankle pain and was able to work through it up until today. I made it through the warm-up but was lagging and I could have finished doing it half-a$$ed but that's not how I want to get through this program. My legs were hurting not in a "I'm SO sore type…

It took all I had to get through Plyo today. I talked myself out of in 3 times last night after work and finally left it for this morning well this morning it was even harder to convince myself to do the workout. I even was considering quitting for the week and starting up again after the holiday. Well needless to say I…

No...if she was supposed to count it as excercise they wouldn't ask what your activity level is when you set up your MFP account. the cardivascular is for excercise not for daily work requirements

Well I was trying to boost my workout so I could stay on track with everyone next week but after the fit test and giving 100% I was beat. Took like an hour break and was hoping to get through Plyo too well right after the warm-up was done I was breathing and dead tired like I just completed the workout so I called it quits…

Cardio Power and Resistance went quite well today as I sit here typing my arms are shaking because they are so dead tired. Moving push-ups are…

I understand where you are coming from I have been a member here since 2010 and up to now I've only lost 8 lbs (more in the past but I had gains I had to account for) I think what finally changed things for me was finding something active I liked to do and was excited about doing daily and then once I was commited to that…

lookin good!

you def need to eat and not just because you are hungry today. You must consider you "net calories" just looking at today and considering how many you are burning you definitely need to eat back at least some of your excercise calories. You have them there for a guide it a calorie goal not a limbo stick.

I feel SO good after today's workout. I try and workout after work, but since that is at 2am, I have been finding it hard to find motivation to do it before bed so I had another morning workout and damn do I feel good. I am also not a huge plyo fan but today made it through the warmup without rest *what?* then the workout…

"Friends" in the true sense of the word are necessary for most people. I understand exactly where you are coming from I'm a single mother of a two year old and forget about making friends after that. Even before I was preganant I didn't really have that many "friends". They have either all moved away or at a diffiferent…

I am doing INSANITY now and I've been burning between 400-700 cals per workout. I am only on Month 1 but I have heard the 1000 calorie burns, if they do occur, are more likely to happen in the 2nd month. I don't know much about your activity level but if you are planning on continuing to lift and do cardio and just add…

I feel your pain sweetheart started last week. You have a few options take some Motrin and work through the pain, It should go away once you start that hellish warmup OR you could just switch the schedule around its a guide not set in stone. The cardio recovery will definitely help out with the sore muscles, it's yoga…

I feel your pain! I have an aquaintance that has always been bigger than me by almost 100#'s well last March she had gastric bypass surgery and lost almost 100#s over the next 6 months or so. At the time I was kind of jealous she looked good and was smaller than me without ANY work. Well it's a year later and now she is…
